    Actually got to watch the game today...loved Ryan challenging the batters when behind with runners on base. Wish he would have won the argument with Baldelli to stay in the game....Thielbar, Okert and Sands almost cost the team the game. If the option is worse than current choice, gotta stay with the current choice. Team (Larnach) saved Rocco's ass today...

    If Kepler has enough value for another team to add, he has enough value to stay here. If his bat picks up again, it is the same as adding at the deadline.

    Good thing Buxton had the day off yesterday, they didn't need what he brings....

    I didn't realize how much of an effort Miranda made trying for the tag, on the MLB.com video it looked like he casually reached out in an attempt, the picture at the top of the article shows full effort for the tag. The runner should have absolutely been called out.

    Martin was already in the game, substituted for Larnach in LF in the 8th. Buxton running for Miranda and Jeffers hitting for Vazquez absolutely should have happened though.

    The Twins had only 6 hits, but had a team xBA of .314. I'm not a fan of metric stats, especially this one as it as shown some 30/30 HR/Park as having an xBA of .100 or less. However, they had 12 hard hit balls (95.7 MPH and higher) and only struck out 4 times, and there was quite bit of bad luck - at 'em balls. The poor defense, falling behind batters and some questionable swings/PA are concerning, as these are signs of a poorly prepared/coached team.

    Soooooo, no PR for Miranda and no PH for Vazquez despite Buxton and Jeffers available for both. You can't win the division/wild card in June, but can lose it...

    But no Buxton. Gotta ride on the Buck Truck while he's hot (.355/.397/.645 slash line with 4 HRs & 14 RBI over his last 17 games).

    They roughed him up for 8 runs on 9 hits in 4 innings on May 9th with no Buxton or Lewis. That game also marked the turnaround to the seasons of Santana and, to a lesser extent, Margot (though he did have 5 RBI that day).

    So we're all good with pitchers who don't know where the baseball is going when they throw it?? I call BS, one of ours gets hit, one of theirs gets hit. It has to be.

    Twins pitchers haven't even thrown an inside pitch, everything right down Broadway. D'Backs been bringing inside heat (very erratically I might add). Evidently one team didn't get the memo the game is blowout. One of the Twins RP's needed to at least buzz the tower in response.

    Too many pitchers trying to throw inside that have no idea where the pitch is going. Buxton has been hit twice this series, Castro once and now Correa. As a pitcher you have answer for your stars getting hit by hitting one of theirs.

    One of Arizona's batters needs to wear one, especially if Correa is going to miss any time.

    Festa at 68 pitches, let him start the 5th. But have someone warmed up and ready to enter the game.

    Royce "I don't do slumps" is 0 for his last 17; but he is putting the ball in play, some of them very hard hit with high xBA. His BABIP before his 0 fer streak was .310, it now sits at .255, maybe a little regression. Hopefully he'll break out of this "non-slump" will .shortly
