  1. Taj Bradley has 67 MLB starts. Across 3 years. Seems like we traded for a failed starter, not one training for the mile.
  2. IIncluding post season: If my math is correct the Twins are 44-124 against the Yankees since 2002. .261 winning percentage 9-27 in the Baldelli era. .250 winning percentage. Still 5 Yankee games to go this season too!!
  3. I'd say one could make reasonable arguments for both. Personally, I'd take Koskie over Smalley. But it's close and probably both should be in the Twins HOF.
  4. Marshall only spent 3 years as a Twin. And those were at the end of his career. Not a Twin HOFer.
  5. The Twins didn't add catching depth, They added lotto tickets that might be catching depth by 2028.
  6. Stewart is on a 1 yr contract. However he'd be under team control through 2028 if the Dodgers want to go through arbitration. https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/s/stewabr01.shtml
  7. We're watching "The Empire strikes. Yet again."
  8. Thank god. I was looking around the room FFS.
  9. Anybody else hear "Darth Vader breathing on the broadcast? Some sort of "evil empire" Yankee stadium sound effects?
  10. Yeah, you just gotta play the IF at DP depth there and accept that runner on 3rd is likely to score. Thats just stupid managing.
  11. They took the top 5 relievers out of the pen. No team in baseball has 5 MLB ready relievers sitting around AAA waiting for bullpen Armageddon.
  12. I'd imagine M&M would be figureheads in such a deal, with nearly all the money coming from one or more real investors.
  13. I believe that's Trent Grisham. Fun fact: he also wrote a lot of lawyer novels.
  14. Did you have a big problem with Matthews getting a called strike 3 in the first on a ball that appeared low?
  15. How TF do we trade for TWO starters on MLB rosters (one with 60 some MLB starts) and neither is good enough to make THIS team?
  16. The problem is two fold...Matthews throwing pitches in that spot, And Twins not crushing several similar pitches while on offense.
