  1. That decision also prevented using Farmer for the single, solitary, lonely reason that makes any sense: now he's not available as a late game defense replacement for Julien. Worse, he's at SS--which they've steasfastly avoided all season if possible--and Castro's in the OF and you're worse defensively at 2 additional positions. Which ignores the question of why use both Jax and Duran yesterday. Not to mention: Why pitch to LH hitting regular Nootbar with 2 outs, 2 on and 1st base open, RH hitting backup catcher due up and the other catcher likely not available. So slim chance of PH.
  2. I count way more than 2 misplays by Rocco having a hand in today's debacle.
  3. Brutal. Three Rocco's in 8 days.
  4. We need another juvenile "we'd have won if Rocco had..." post from the flouncer in the recap.
  5. Thanks Rocco. Sure glad Duran threw last night. Glad you left that run on 3rd with Farmer. Which means you cant even use Farmer for his only possible reason to exist...subbing for Julien at 2nd. Glad you let Nootbar beat you with 1st base open.
  6. I can forgive a physical error a lot easier than Rocco sending Farmer up to PH.
  7. So...Rocco took the worse option intentionally?
  8. Uffda. Rocco. It's Kyle Farmer.
  9. Rocco playing 3D chess. "Y'know...if I put him in the starting lineup....I can't pinch hit him later..."
  10. Actually, neither foot needs to be in play. He could have, for example, been airborn. However, if one or both feet were grounded inside the dugout--out of play--it's not a legal catch. Same for any out of play area. An outfielder, for example, cab leap at the wall and make a catch over the wall. However, he can't plant a body part (hand, foot) out of play and then make the catch. In this case I think it was a legal catch.
  11. And....Just like that, tied.
  12. Conversely, I have the utmost confidence in Margot's ability.
  13. I have this friend who is always confusing similar words. For example, he always misuses "burro" and "burrow." It's like he doesn't know his a$$ from a hole in the ground.
  14. I read somewhere that cows kill more people than sharks. At first I found that hard to believe, but the more I thought about it, it makes sense. I mean, how would a cow even kill a shark in the first place?
  15. Uffda. Stay in front of those, Eddie.
  16. I'd prefer they both lose 2.
  17. *22nd. https://www.espn.com/mlb/attendance
