  1. The other 29 teams conspired to make outrageous demands of the Twins, but not of each other. Poor Twins, what could they do?
  2. Well that's a shame, and your loss. An unforced loss, at that. I think perhaps you need to widen your sources of information.
  3. Stuff+? He looked like a position player up there lobbing in eephus pitches. Dobnak isn't an answer.
  4. It wasn't lodged. That stupid gap at the base of the OF wall is bigger than a baseball and isn't considered lodged. But it does beg the question "why is that gap there in the first place?"
  5. They can start SWR and Ober for Friday's games, Festa Saturday, and Lopez Sunday, if they want. They'd have Ryan Monday in KC, but nobody for Tuesdays game. Or, they can bring up a spot starter for Friday's doubleheader using the 27th man. I suspect they take this route. It keeps the rotation sort of intact, and makes best use of the 27th man. If they use 2 regular starters for the doubleheader they'll need someone else outside the rotation to start a game against KC anyway. Might as well do that when you have an extra roster spot that won't require roster manipulation
  6. Sweep is welcome and needed. I had the same thoughts on Benintendi. A manager can't let that level of indifference fester. Thats not major league by either the player or the manager. Benintendi should absolutely have been pulled on that lazy double, if not before. Ridiculous.
  7. Yes. Both Falvey and Levine get an error for Richards.
  8. And it's not just lack of talent. They play terrible baseball too. I firmly believe a better manager has them 10 games better.
  9. Can't believe they didn't even make a serious effort to upgrade this pen.
  10. The top of the "strike zone" box on TV for Baldwin is literally below his belt.
  11. For a second when I saw those looping lobs, I thought the Twins had a position player on the mound, then I realized it was Dobnak.
  12. The White Sox aren't just undertalented. They're also not very good. There's a difference.
