    Do you even understand why he is sitting, it is because a LH pitcher is on the mound and so they are putting Martin as a platoon, read the original post so you know what you are talking about.

    They just had an off day on Thursday, it's not that difficult, you play him every day for the rest of the season and let him learn up here. You have no clue on what you are even talking about anymore.

    At risk of getting ripped for my fandom again but I really don't understand the plan this organization has for its players, If Jenkins is up here he needs to be in the lineup every day. I believe we are potentially going to face another 3 lefties this week, so is Jenkins going to sit against every one just to get Martin in the lineup. We know what Martin can do, he can come to spring training and fight for a job next spring.

    Again all Buxton will do is veto the trade, he has that right as you well know. Get used to him being here for at least another two years.

    This is interesting, I just saw a blurb about a player who had been playing in Mexico how the use of analytics here in the states vs. Mexico in that players here are more with improving the individual analytics instead of their play. Now I get the assumption is that by improving certain aspects of analytics that their game is improved but is anyone reviewing the end results other than bat speed improved, but their average or OPS increase. Did it lead to favorable results, I think that is the question that needs to be asked or are they just chasing numbers.

    So you are using three starts to support the premise of your article. It seems more like you don't like the analytics behind Ober so he obviously can't be an effective starter. As others have stated, he has adjusted to what he has and not everyone needs to throw 100 mph.

    I agree Zoll needs to go but I am not sure it is all on the Pohlads. Most causal fans don't pay attention to the owner of the franchise is at least here in Minnesota. They look to see if the team is winning or if they are fun to watch when deciding to invest time in the team. I was in St. Louis last year for opening day and every fan was booing the owner during the opening day festivities. I have yet to see that here in Minnesota. Who knows if they are going to put the team up for sale or not, the latest public statements that they are hear to stay. Who knows but the Pohlad family what the plan is. When this team has had success they have had a competent executive leading the baseball operations, McPhail and Ryan especially in his first stint. This is what Pohlad needs to do, find someone to lead the baseball operations and get out of the way and provides resources within reason when necessary. Don't approve a large contract unless you are committed to the payroll for the next five years, this is an arbitrary number. Then at least the head knows what his resources are going to be and build accordingly. As an FYI, they only have a couple of scouts left, so hopefully they don't blame them for this mess.

    When Zoll was elevated to the top spot, it was really the only option with spring training about to start. But now Tom P. has had time to assess him and not just this past year. He has been a major part of the front office for the last 6 years and with the team for the last 10 years. I can't believe Falvey made every decision on his own and didn't rely on Zoll, even Falvey alluded that he has in the past. So now we have had one playoff win in the last 10 years and sub .500 teams struggling at the end of the season the last 3 years. Do you really want to give Zoll time to prove himself, when the track record of what he has been a major part of is not good. For me I would prefer someone who has proven themselves, if they want to keep Zoll as the number 2, not what I would do but I could live with it. This organization needs a review from top to bottom of what they are doing well and what is not working because something is not clicking. And typically the best option to do this for any organization in any industry is with new voices.

    Hate to break it to you but its the front office that sets the roster. And last year Falvey decided to gut our bullpen. Now if you want to blame Tom P. for keeping Zoll around, please join me in that.

    Morris will be fine, this was his first year in the bullpen, he's been good until August.

    It won't be called, they will play the full game. The weather is not that bad, just annoying.
