    Great article. As the game of the "best pitch" progressed, my wife walked into the room. I immediately showed her that pitch and she was amazed, just as I had been. We have never seen anything like that before. Ryan is a special pitcher.

    Great article Mathew. Well written and fascinating with a wonderful title. "Concretize"? You never cease to amaze me with your choice of words, of which I am unfamiliar. Thanks for increasing my vocabulary. Do you use these words on a regular basis, or do you search for rare words for your articles, just to edify your readers? Keep these excellent, in-depth articles coming.

    I attended this game in person. I did not go to the Dairy Queen after this Twins loss. I went to a bar. They had no Killebrew root beer. If fact they had no root beer. My night would have been completely ruined, except I got to see a Buxton triple and Audra Martin in person.

    I was at the Saturday game in Hotlanta. The atmosphere was electric. The streets close to the ball park were closed to traffic and the many bars and restaurants were opened. Alcohol was sold and consumed in the streets. I spoke to every Twins fan I saw. I wore my Minnesota Twins tee shirt which Tony Oliva had autographed in Ft. Myers. We Twins fans were optimistic. The Braves fans were polite and numerous and really into the game. The ball park is beautiful. The light show and fireworks after each of the Twins numerous strike outs added to the excitement. The game was a really fun game with lots of action. I sat 6 rows back beside the Twins dugout. I cheered loudly for the Twins. My two highlights of Saturday's game were watching Buxton run out his triple and seeing Audra Martin in person. One of my friends, who is a Braves fan, here in North Carolina where I live, sent me a text after Sunday's game and thanked me for bringing my Twins to Atlanta to help his Braves". What should I have replied to that text? "Wait til next year." "It's a long season". "Something about his mother" ?

    I'm loosening up my arm and taking extra batting practice. I'll be available for the Saturday Twins' game in Hotlanta, which I will be attending in my Kirby Puckett jersey. Seriously. I really am.

    Good article. However I must respectfully disagree with your statement that the Twins "need a different type of hitter" than Luis Arraez. Arraez has a .322 lifetime average, a .370 OBP and .787 OPS. He plays 2B (a weakness of the Twins right now), 1B (no prospects for 1B in the pipeline for the Twins and using a 1 year free agent at 1B now) and 3B (Miranda, currently). We all like homeruns, but "the second coming of Tony Gwyn" will be in the Hall of Fame if he keeps this hitting up for 10 more years. The Twins could certainly find a position in the lineup for Luis Arraez for today's game with Detroit and for the rest of this season and for the rest of this amazing hitter's career.

    "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!" vs. "Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you tomorrow, You're only a day away!" . We fans can choose our attitude. We can turn off the tv or leave the game early. We can complain or encourage. The players, coaches, manager and staff have much more invested than we fans will ever realize. So come on TD Family. Let's join in in a joint cheer. Baseball is here. Spring is here. LET'S GO TWINS. Lets go Twins. let's go twins......let's go............................ I don't hear you.

    I'm not embarrassed to see how bad the White Sox have become. To quote "The Hawk"..."They gone!" Now if Duke will just lose.

    In some ways it is easier to write about a Twins victory rather than a Twins loss. That being said, this summary was an outstanding read. The choice of words written in this article was extremely clever and poetic. Thanks Steven. I hope to read more articles by you in the future.

    Today's game still counts as much as any game in September. I really used to enjoy watching Sonny Gray pitch. Up , down, inside, outside, slow, slower, move to the left, move to the right. The man knows how to pitch.
