  1. I'm about to eat lunch, then likely make some kind of spinach based soup or something for dinner later. So much spinach in the garden....
  2. They are (IMO) likely to lose to the Eagles no matter when they play them. May as well get more rest after that game.....
  3. I was responding to a post about .... n/m, not worth it. Also, go Twins.
  4. Sure., but I was talking about the beginning of the year.....anyway, good luck today everyone.
  5. My concern with Ober was/is....if he's really innings limited, why not start him in MN, and start Maeda in the pen....then when Ober is out of innings, do something else? But, that shipped sailed, and I think they just let Ober go....and go....
  6. Sure, though I'd put Lewis in center......but sure. I mean, I'd call up Lee for third right now. Atlanta called up AA players with little (but more than Lee) experience last year.....but no chance MN does this any time soon.
  7. I also would be hoping HARD for no ground balls....
  8. I mean, I'd trade him or put him at DH, but neither seems like an option right now. He's useless if not used somehow......and they seem determined, despite all evidence, to use him at 2nd and not first......I'd trade him, if they won't use him at DH.....
  9. Bummer. Good luck to him. I would not extend him. I liked the trade, mostly, when made. People in this thread seem to be forgetting Ryan...but that's not the point of the thread, is it?
  10. I;d still like to see Polanco at third, and Julien in MN at second. then hope for no ground balls.....
  11. Thanks. I had a feeling this is what was going on, but was too lazy to look myself.
  12. This is a point so many miss. A SO is much better than a weak ground ball.
  13. Maybe the pitching is better at the MLB level, and it isn't any more complex than that.
  14. Out of the box Polanco at third, Julien at second, hope for no groundballs..... This was the right move. Hopefully things get better.
  15. I don't average fans show up to watch a singles hitter. But I could be wrong. I think they show up for winning....CC really needs to start producing. It's mind boggling how bad he's been.
  16. I see no need for Solano when Farmer is back. Castro can play multiple positions. That said, it might be time to give Miranda a few weeks in AAA....
  17. Where does he play? I'm guessing Farmer replaces Solano in a day.....
  18. Shouldn't you be looking at sculptures or something?
  19. Is zero evidence it's more dangerous than the infield. He also hurt his knee on the stairs, should he never go on stairs?
  20. I see no reason for Solano to be on the roster when Farmer is ready, unless they want Miranda playing every day in AAA. Also, was really hoping Lewis was in center. Guess we're stuck with Taylor. I don't get that, given Lee will be ready this year, imo.
