Alcala has been hurt. No idea how that's on the FO. Celestino was rushed because of other failures and every OF being hurt last year, and is injured. I'd partially count them wrong there.
It's better not to have him for five healthy days, than to play a man down for five.... Today is a great example why.
I wonder if they'd go down a pitcher? Does every team carry the maximum pitchers?
Weird, I'm told Buxton is soft (see Twitter, and a thread here)......Can't even play with ribs wrapped!
I'd trade CC right now if I could (which I can't).....that injury is going to linger.
I just think AK is your 1B, or Miranda....but Julien might work there too.
I'd prefer Martin at 2B or LF, no idea why they keep throwing him out at short.
Given he hasn't played there....I think they have confirmed that.
They can say whatever they want, many "fans" won't believe them (see all over this board) anyway.
Actions speak louder than words, and their actions make it clear what they think of him in the OF right now.
Preilipp is a great risk by the Twins, even if it doesn't work. It was a good decision. I think he could pitch out of the pen this year, and I'd consider having him be there (even in the minors) all year, just to build him back up slowly.
I think Enlow will be a 40 by the end of the year, but his velocity needs to pick back up to be effective at the MLB level.
Those first two names off the list are killers for sure....killers. Could have been some great players there instead.
The one I don't get is Martin.....the others? Where else are they going to play Julien? ERod likely isn't a CF, but playing him there does no one any harm, imo.
Dude has played hurt for three years....nearly every year, really. These are humans in pain, playing a sport every day (nearly) for 6 months, plus training. No one gets to this level being "soft". No one.
