    Fear of injury....that's why Gallo is on the roster still. By that logic, Julien should still be in the minors, just in case he gets hurt? At some point, you have to play your best players, like when you are about to make the playoffs and you have Gallo starting every day, and Solano, and MAT (who has been worse than Gallo since May). And Castro. None of those guys are going to help this team win playoff games. I'm not talking about the beginning of the year here.....it is August.

    Because they have Kiriloff. And maybe Severino, who has played there some in AAA. There is zero reason to spend money there. Also, who would you target?

    I wasn't even talking about Lee .... Martin, though? Yes. Julien is only up because polanco got hurt. He and Wallner were both sent down after playing well, because they wanted veterans instead of better players. And, many here agree and just would rather play bad veterans than take a chance on younger players.

    I'd have martin up and starting in CF right now.....and see if it works or not for the playoffs. They aren't built to win the playoffs, most likely, so take some chances.

    How about 110? That seems realistic to me. 14 catchers did that last year, IIRC. That's likely all the really good catchers.....

    Fair, in context of yesterday, but I'm not sure that's leverage specific in terms of what inning, which I thought was your argument.. You stated an opinion, I asked about it, nothing more or less.

    How long will we suffer with 42% strikeouts until AK is back? How do we KNOW Williams or Severino are worse than Gallo? This fear of losing out on Gallo somehow being better than the options is really odd to me. He's one of the worst hitters in all of baseball since May......Fear of moving on is not what I'd like from this FO.

    Blaming Rocco for this bullpen is bonkers. There are what, two guys they can count on? Three? I have no idea how people blame Rocco for this. Did people really want Balazovich or Winder in there instead of Jax? Those same people that rip him for using those guys?
