    If I'm him, I try one more year....but if next year is like this, I work out a retirement deal with the team.....because I want to walk. That said, I'm not a hyper competitive professional athlete.

    A fun season is more fun that what this Twins team is doing....last year was fun (if bonkers at times) until the playoffs. I'm sympathetic to your stance, which I used to hold, but I'm more of a journey guy now.....

    This is why I go with a 5 man rotation, and have Ober ready as the long man for Keuchel (as I assume he's still here for awhile) or Maeda (or, heck, Gray, since he can't pitch the third time thru the order apparently).

    I'm conflicted. I don't believe this D is good enough....but, this team MIGHT be really good (note: I think its the same team as last year, so I don't believe, but it is possible). OTOH, since I don't believe, I'd do this very fast. Or not. Really a hard choice for me.

    Fear. It's why Gallo is still on the roster. GMs and coaches get fired for doing things others don't (esp. the NFL, where everyone punts on 4th and short).
