  1. I still laugh that a certain poster said it was foolish to take Greene because Lewis would 100 percent be healthier.... It's hard to maybe the team, though. You just can't predict these injuries. As for Rooker..... Every team agreed with the Twins, so no chance anyone saw this coming. At the time, they were competitive, and Rooker needed to be on the forty man, and I'm curious who people think they should have cut, without hindsight.... But this site will never let this go, despite ever team agreeing with the Twins.
  2. This is accurate. Though it's worse, as several of the below replacement guys are well below.... And are veterans who they will not replace.
  3. This is why I'm not buying the argument it's early.....
  4. His ops is under 700.... And people are happy he's here, at first base? Low bar.
  5. It's not innocuous to say trust your eye over results, stats, over and over. Calling someone a hater for disagreeing on the value of stats?
  6. 4-1 is high leverage? This is ridiculous on so many levels. So, no, this isn't about him not seeing what any fan can see, since numerous fans here disagree with you
  7. I don't understand your point? He's not up w/o injuries.
  8. It's in the upper 70s here, and all I can think is I need to move to the coast, or further North, or both.... Also, exciting game!
  9. My advice? Go on Sunday. Also, during the world cup. We were just about the only ones there. Amazing.
  10. ? Lewis, Lee, and Jenkins say hi . It's really Rooker and Larnach in round one, and a bunch of SS and OF.... So I'm not sure the facts agree with you. That said, the picks may have been SS, but they weren't good picks often enough ..
  11. No casual fan is coming out for Keaschell. Zero. This is about injury and desperation, imo.
  12. Except ohtani had already played at this level, that was my point..... He'd already showed he could. Either way, I'm excited Keaschell is up, and hope the finally have a real hitter. And that they just let him play every day.
  13. You're comparing him to a proven MLB, MVP, player coming off surgery?
  14. That would be amazing.
  15. Exciting! I'm looking forward to him hitting over time, but expecting some adjustment time.
  16. Intrigued.
  17. Your last paragraph is depressing
  18. I mean, I'm hoping they get all those! TE is likely a need also, I agree. I just think S is harder to learn, and if they get one this year, he's fully ready in 26.
