  1. You don't win by amassing 1 war players. You just don't. Play the youth, and gamble on upside.
  2. so, by default, the hitters are high picks.....so, it makes sense the hitters they value are high picks......I'm not sure you are arguing what you think you are.
  3. I mean, its a demonstrable fact that picking earlier increases your odds of getting better players. It's not even debatable. It's no guarantee, but I think people really struggle with odds....
  4. I mean, the starting pitching staff shows how false this is.
  5. This. They aren't winning squat by adding below average veterans. If that's the limit, give the youth a shot.
  6. No check downs?
  7. Fair. I only get to watch parts of games, so maybe I'm just seeing the bad plays!
  8. PFF is a joke the last two years, since the founding scouts left. And I'm not saying Ingram is good..... I'm saying they are both bad
  9. Play to win. Go with the risk. See my post in other baseball.... You don't win by gathering mediocre, risk reducing, players. No interest. Play Miranda or Larnach or Julien there.
  10. Great article about how sports finally is figuring out how to win more. And why swinging for the fences is almost always right https://blogs.fangraphs.com/hedges-are-for-gardens/
  11. right, TD or interception.....you never know.
  12. agreed!
  13. ha, came here to laugh at us both thinking he's good and redeemed. It's play to f'n play with him.
  14. I'm not saying Bradbury is good (which, man, everyone thought he would be when drafted, everyone).
  15. 100% not 32 better? I don't know, he's looked awful a few years.....
  16. Watched that Dockumenatry last night (MAX), and now I'm down the rabbit hole. Watched the comedy series that coined the term. Listening to Aja. Checking the Yacht or Nacht list......
  17. Maybe? I'd play QB for Vegas for 150 million...... Other than the Rams, I don't see a stable staff to go to.
  18. The fact no one signed him the last two years, that the OL can't pass block when he's in there.
  19. Risner is awful Truly.
  20. If Vegas offers him 3/150....you go there. Way more important than a 5% shot at winning.
  21. I mean, as others have said, sign Darnold in SF......
  22. I also start him in the majors....and get the struggles out of the way.
  23. agreed on Purdy. If they have OLD vets, I'd consider dealing them if I was them, but if the rookie QB is good (terrible class for QB this year), then maybe don't make deals? Can you deal McCaffery at this point?
  24. RG is 100% the biggest need on the OL. By far. Then C, then LG. I wonder if Rouse can play RG?
