Other than last year when they won a playoff series for the first time in two decades.

I think I went to two game threads the last two months. People forget how awful it was before this FO and manager arrived.

The season turned when Ryan got hurt and the hitters stopped hitting. Not on one decision. Because those all had more to do to the season than one decision. They stopped scoring runs, that's a much bigger issue that needs examining than one decision.

That one decision led to the hitters forgetting how to hit?

Seems unlikely they deal their best SS prospect, unless they believe Lee stays there as CC plays half the games over the next few years.

Hoping both of those top guys are healthy and productive. Really want DeAndrade to succeed.....he seems like something they might be missing in the minors. That's not saying anything about others, btw...

I mean, they make an 83% margin, so, ya.....even if the government succeeds in fixing the monopoly, they're fine. I am using Verizon for the dividends right now. I'm basically (in what I manage, not my advisor) betting on NU, NVIDIA, and UNH (I mean, I got all of this while working there, but I've held it)....with some Verizon.

Put Preilip in the bullpen next year....no need to use his few pitches in the minors...Then stretch him out to start 2026, and follow the Liriano path.

None of those guys had just come off an impressive rookie year......and none of those happened recently at all. Gaterol is a RP, not a 2b (if Julien is a 2b). I've made my point. People disagree and think the Twins would deal a starting 2B who just came off a great rookie year. I can't see it happening at all. What team is trading a young, affordable, starting pitcher? Those don't grow on trees.....

It's also just possible that MN isn't really a baseball area at all....and the only way they draw fans is by winning and excitement, something mostly lacking in teh last 20 years.

For most of their time running this team, fans supported them when they likely shouldn't have (because, fans do that). This team has mostly been horrible. People seem to forget just how bad the last decade was before this FO......from 2011 to 2016, they had ONE YEAR where they won more than 70 games.....ONE.

I learned last year to just enjoy the ride while it lasts and have fun. That's what being a fan should be about (not what mostly happens on this site on the Twins' parts).

I never said the Twins didn't stink! NO chance, zero, that this team (or Tampa, or anyone that doesn't have a huge budget) trades a 2nd year player like Julien. Zero.

And how do you fit that in the budget? I mean, I hope to win the lottery tonight, but this team isn't dealing 2nd year players that look like legit players. No shape, manner, or universe is that happening. They couldn't afford to field a team if they kept doing that. Also, then Polanco would have utterly stunk up MN instead of SEA (and as a veteran, would have led the team in ABs ).
