  1. This isn't going to be popular, but just how many teams have even three good starters? What are we expecting from rookies these days? Trading for six years of control is 100, percent building the pipeline. Anyone giving up on Festa or Matthews probably needs more patience. I'm unsure on SWR. The terms have clearly been above average here compared to other teams.
  2. I guess this team is no longer a distraction for me. Onto something else.
  3. Can't wait for this FO and core to be gone.
  4. Wallner has been forty percent better than league average over his career. He's a very good to great hitter.
  5. And they play again with a short bench....
  6. He could be, but that means one of Lewis, CC, or Keaschell, and maybe Lee too, are gone. To be a regular less than two years in baseball is not common, but not unheard of. Which of those do you expect him to replace next year as a regular?
  7. It's very hard for a college player to be in their third year in the league at 24...... Especially if they are mid round picks. I think we should celebrate they are getting value from mid to late round picks. Ymmv, of course. I'm just not giving up on guys that haven't even been in the league for a year.
  8. Jenkins is likely your LF of the future. Hence my question. I have no idea, btw, hence my question. Thanks.
  9. This. This board has no patience for youth at all, despite constantly clamouring for it.
  10. I'm most concerned about safety. I'm in favor of letting the youth play, though..
  11. I wonder if GG should be getting time at first? Or can he actually stay in the OF?
  12. Agreed. Not that I'm sure they'd spend the money. But this team isn't a winning team.
  13. Not healthy! I'm just more against adding old guys to save the season.
  14. Humans have bad days. He didn't forget anything. It's not more complicated than that.
  15. I don't get why they continue to do this year after year. Every year. Another reason to fire them all.
  16. Wallner has hit nearly forty percent better than league average for his career. Lewis is always hurt. I strongly disagree we know that the three young others are failures. It hasn't even been one year. I'm not sure how you feel about Lee..... But he's no failure. My point isn't so much cut a dude, but don't add more old dudes. Obviously, Keaschell should start every day when healthy.
  17. Do you send employees home for two days at yoyu business if they mess up?
