  1. WTF was I even trying to type?
  2. The problem isn't money, it's roster management. How do you build a team, if you have to have two starting 3b and two starting CF? Because that's what you need with these two. Not just backups, but legit starters. And what do you do with those guys when they aren't starting? Can you have a bench? Maybe...if Miranda can play third and first, though they've decided that's France at first. Maybe if you DH one of your OF full time. But it gets hard to plan and manage if you know these two are missing half the season or more.
  3. I don't care who the backup QB is. Of the guys left, no one is winning kits of games.... Maybe Flacco? It's just not important at this point..
  4. And people wanted to sign him to a long term deal.... No chance. No way.
  5. I'll be surprised if they don't trade down from 97, or whatever it is.... Even the first, but I bet they take Grant if he's there
  6. Except you also need a great backup..... Because he hasn't been healthy in four or five years now. It's hard to have two players for one position, basically full time, if you limit your budget.
  7. Right? This idea that there is always blame is silly. Stuff happens all the time, with no one at fault.
  8. You actually think they don't know what they are doing?
  9. I think Julien still has a very good hitter inside him, but I want to see it in AAA first. So I agree.
  10. To be clear, I think they've done a great job of filling holes, and can go most any direction other than QB.....I just have preferences for most anything other than RB or TE.
  11. It's a bad safety class, so take one even later? Also, Smith is gone after this year, so they need one next year.
  12. Smith is slower than me.... But sure, need is a strong word, not it's a lot harder to find an ok safety or corner mid season than RB. I like the trade, don't use more assets on RB.... Not early.
  13. Except they still need at least one CB, likely a safety, an OG and DL. They do not need another RB this year. CB and safety take more than one training camp to get up to speed possibly, too, so take them this year. I get others disagree, but I'd rather have another position than RB given how few picks they have.
  14. I like this deal, as it likely takes RB out of the third round. Also, that's what my deleted bluesky post was about...
  15. How will he prove he's good when France starts nearly every game, despite being below average?
  16. I don't care how old he is. They control his contact for a limited number of years. If he wastes the first two, that's not good .
  17. Turner couldn't get on the field the last two games. Is he even on the field half the time next year? He's one reason they don't have picks this year. Cine was a disaster. He traded down and utterly missed. I guess we'll see this year, but I can already hear the excuses that he just didn't have many picks to work with.
  18. Imagine if this FO could draft!
  19. Now they've signed an OT.
