  1. It's all about the defense.... or something like that.
  2. an injury prone team playing on wet grass, what could go wrong?
  3. I mean, I was called a curmudgeon for saying France was a starter..... So I feel ya
  4. I'm still rooting for college sports to die, and colleges to go back to education....
  5. when is Kiersey even going to play? I guess as a PH for Bader if Larnarch or Wallner is DHing? A late inning defensive sub? It's hard to see him playing much, but I'm super happy he's getting a shot!
  6. Right? If he's so good, why is Philly dealing him for nothing much? This team is loaded with arms. Go get some hitters/fielders (like, you know, a catcher or 2B).
  7. Many people have said this.
  8. Seems like a lot to give up for a guy that mulitple bad teams passed on, who can't throw strikes. As for Blewitt, let's say they bring someone in. That guy gets cut when Stewart comes back....then two weeks later someone is hurt. Do you not promote Blewitt again because you might lose him later? At what point do you just promote him, if he's one of the 9 best RP on the roster? At some point, you either want him up, or you don't. But there will always be someone hurt, not doing well, ready to be DFA/traded/whatever. At some point, a hurt player will come back....
  9. They don't have enough hitters.... What would you trade for him? Another pitcher?
  10. The one thing they have is minor league pitching. No idea why they would trade for this guy.. Nah. They have guys to pitch, but it wouldn't shock me. Can't see anything like this on the horizon. I think the non sale will constrain them from many moves.
  11. Heaven forbid they have the right to change their minds and get paid.
  12. agreed, and that's actually a CB apparently at pick 97.
  13. ah, then I'm ok with a CB! (ya, didn't like those picks).
  14. NFL.com big board https://www.nfl.com/news/eric-edholm-s-top-100-prospects-1-0-ranking-the-best-players-in-the-2025-nfl-draft-class
  15. CBS has a three round mock up....and they trade down with Vegas for a 2, 3, 6....and take a QB with pick 97? hahahahahaha, no. They are not taking a QB in that spot, imo.
  16. Given it gets something like 90 percent of things wrong, just do the opposite of what it says! All while consuming insane amounts of water and energy, and leaving people free to just hang out and do art with no income....
  17. Special teams player
  18. Nothing wrong with the occasional dice roll, imo.
  19. I didn't say either of those. Please. But can you at least acknowledge the difficulty of managing a roster with these two on it? But they have Bader precisely because of Buxton. Just like they had the two other guys the previous two years. How'd that work? You have to pay someone 8 million to backup Buxton for three years.... It's a difficult situation. No one wants Emma up here rarely playing, so you sign a veteran, so you sign a veteran.. I don't have a good answer, I'm saying there likely isn't one. I'm actually confident one of Emma or Jenkins is that star to replace Buxton.
