    Heaven forbid guys be happy they hit a HR. It wasn't a simpler time, it was a time that wanted everyone to stay in their place.

    You can have his story there without giving him a plaque. And, it's still against the rules to gamble on the game, and it still results in a ban. If he ever showed remorse and admitted it, I'd feel slightly different. Some people scream for accountability, bit didn't really want it at all for their people.... Not that you are that way... But others are.

    I'm willing to concede some of you have convinced me it's not as bad as I thought. And yet, I'm not excited. They don't seem to win enough games most years. And as pointed out above, where are the pre arb replacements? It's partly on them, because I don't think they trust their process enough. Wallner should not be a platoon player, for example. And they are way too slow to give up on bad veterans. So, yes, it's not bad. But I'm not convinced it's great either.

    I hope Lewis moves to first, and not Lee. But I'm never counting on Lewis being healthy. That's negative, but it's been four years now. Keaschell, I am a big fan, but the sample size is tiny. It's hard to see this front office not signing several veterans, it's in their DNA.

    Those two look like legit players. I'm the high guy in Lee on this site. I even created a thread about how good he is. I'm not excited about the help they will need later this year and next. Hopefully ERod hits and Jenkins gets healthy. Hopefully others step up.

    I'm negative? I asked who was in AA/AAA this year, because we are talking about the minor leagues (drafting and developing). That's the topic.

    Which of those is a realistic option for this year or next? Who would ERod even replace, he's not going to be a 4th OF? They haven't promoted McCusker, even with Wallner out. Eeles? He's a 2b only. Where does he play if keaschell and Lee are in MN? ERod is it (as I'd count keaschell as in MN at this point, but I'll give you him). That's it. An OF that hasn't hit at all this year, and a 2B/OF.

    Of course, they need to replace Vazquez with a FA or trade, as they have zero catchers. They have to replace France who makes a measly 1 million (no one in the minors is a 1B).

    Which of those is in AA or AAA right now? Because if they aren't in AA by the middle of this year, they likely aren't on the Twins this year or next.....so, yay, more 1 year deals for mediocre veterans!

    I should not have typed martin and my other part close together.....my bad. In any event, not a fan of their development process so far. Hoping it changes, but I have doubts.

    Trading for guys is part of the pipeline. How is this not real in people's heads at this point? It's how CLE did it, for one example....

    We usually agree, but that's no indictment on the coaches....it's about the player. That said, fine, keep him there this year, but let's not pretend this team works HARD to develop a guy at one position and make him great....Martin is the poster child.

    Someone killed our amazing thyme plant. The temps have dropped since I planted the tomatoes. But the garlic and peas look amazing.
