  1. I'd move on from Hockenson also. But they won't.
  2. If that all happened, it would work for me, but I have a hard time not taking Grant and not trading down. Oliver does nothing for me, but I get others like him. I'd trade/cut and move on and take a mid/late round small OG or big TE to replace him .....
  3. Every team makes short term trades, well, every team trying to win. I get not all the deals worked, but IMO, it's unfair to criticize them for making short term deals to try to win at the deadline, unless you never want them to do that, which I guess is possible...... They are shopping at the lower levels because they signed one guy to a huge deal, and two others to large deals, and refuse to go with youth at many positions. They also have a super fragile CF, requiring two legit starting CFers right now. I'm not saying they are doing a good job, but this post I'm quoting seems at odds with some things you want them to do....
  4. They've largely refused to move on from veterans (see Kepler, Max) early and get prospects. Cleveland and Tampa do that a lot.....
  5. This is why, IMO, Larnach should be the 1B......but that ship does not appear to ever be likely to sail. Their best prospects are all OF...all of them.....unless Keashcell becomes a 1B.
  6. Except it's been six.... Unless you expect guys to play in the majors within two years of being drafted.
  7. Weird. I was called names for suggesting this.... But that user also called me too emotional once, and I was right then too. Maybe they should find another way to disagree....
  8. No chance grant makes it to 30. If he's there with their pick, they take him. Your IOL still sucks, with a rookie QB....
  9. I'd rather take a chance on upside than sign a guy that put up negative war....
  10. Where do larnach and bader both play if Miranda is the DH?
  11. Bader got 8 million. He's not a minor signing for this team.
  12. So, one fourth of the time, while France plays 75 percent? You're making my point.
  13. He's picking France over Miranda and other internal options, options his organization drafted and coached.
  14. Not sign bad players. Trust the system filled with his players and coaches. If they can't beat France, his system sucks and he should resign.
  15. Agreed. I was pretty pro Falvey until this last week. But it's a repeat of a strategy that is not sustainable. One that is boring. One that offers no hope for the future, only a floor, very low floor, for the present. I'm done.
  16. You could likely fit two in your garage. Also, it's not their fault Falvey signed them.....
  17. If fandom wasn't sticky, there's pretty much a zero chance I'd root for this front office and team. Just awful. Truly.
  18. The team is for sale. Also, Correa and Lopez would like to remind you that they do make bold moves sometimes. If they are instructed to stay afloat only, that's not on them....
