    Much of what you say is true. Trump is an outsider, and a doer, and probably assumed other Republicans wanted to do something about immigration. Dems will oppose Trump, and many still cannot grapple with the idea that he is president. To be honest I don’t know what some of these other Democrats are saying about this issue. Personally I am looking for humane fair treatment of immigrants and refugees, above all else. I have no idea where Beto stands on this issue. But like the above poster said, I bet Beto has credibility on this that others don’t. I have no idea what Ilhan Omar has to say about southern immigration, she has bigger things to worry about. Maxine Waters, hard pass.

    Yeah but he’s right. Republicans controlled government completely, for two years. All three branches. If Republicans really wanted to “do something” about this issue, they would have. But they don’t.

    Before the season started, the goal of the FO was not to win the division, but to be in position to win it (or as I understand it, be even with Cleveland in the standings come late-July). Yes, I hope they are adjusting their sights too!
