    Raya and Funderburk promoted
  2. DJL44
He may have been moved up to AAA because a different organization wants to see how he performs. If he has a hot July, he’s trade bait.
  3. DJL44
The Padres are looking for a LH OF bat. Bradgley Rodriguez would help the Twins bullpen. That’s the kind of trade they need to make.
  4. DJL44
Larnach has zero trade value this offseason. He is a borderline non-tender.
  5. DJL44
Even if the Twins are in the playoff hunt, they should consider trading Larnach. They need pitching a lot more than they need a left handed hitting outfielder. There are options to replace Larnach from within but nothing in the minors for pitching.

I thought the same thing about Austin Martin in the outfield and we all saw the catch he made last night. Keaschall is still under 180 games played at 2B as a professional. He makes a great play followed by a bad one.
  7. DJL44
These are the same pitchers who couldn’t shut down Omaha last Thursday. Season is half over, Twins are on a 76-win pace.
  8. DJL44
This is Roden’s third season in AAA. He has a 950 OPS in 126 games. He doesn’t need any more games in AAA.
  9. DJL44
If they want to add relief pitching for the stretch run, it makes sense to deal Larnach.
  10. DJL44
Exactly. Send Fedko back to AAA. Move Kody Clemens back to a utility role.
  11. DJL44
Call up Roden now and give him 5 starts a week in the outfield. If he thrives it makes it even easier to trade Larnach.
  12. DJL44
    Any reports from the game?
  13. DJL44
That probably explains why I never end up drinking at concerts or sporting events. The Saints Thursday night $2 promo is eight ounces of Michelob Light.
  14. DJL44
If you’re charging $15 for a Summit I will purchase zero beers. I don’t know how they sell any.
  15. DJL44
Were these $2 beers $15 before? I bought a $2 beer at the Saints game that came in a Dixie cup. Do they normally charge $15 for an eight-ounce beer?

I had to work a volunteer shift at a gophers game once. Our organization made about as much money per person as it cost me for parking and a babysitter for my kids. We opted to just pay $100 per participant the next year to get our Saturdays back. I hope the Target Field charities are actually real. San Diego had a minor scandal with fake charities running concessions.
  17. DJL44
Put Roden in the OF and use Kody Clemens as a utility guy. Roden “steals” one game a week from Lewis, Buxton, Bell, Keaschall, Larnach and Clemens.
  18. DJL44
since returning to AAA .556 .619 1.278 If Roden is promoted, Fedko is the likely demotion.
  19. DJL44
It's not going to work out often, but when it does you can acquire a competent reliever for absolutely nothing. Since the worst reliever on the roster has been pretty bad for the last 150 games, he has nothing to lose by trying.
  20. DJL44
Relievers are used for particular matchups. Most batters are right handed. It's hard to find enough left-on-left matchups to use four lefthanded relievers.
  21. DJL44
What reliever on the waiver wire do you wish Zoll had picked up instead of the guys he picked up? He's sorting through the discards. There is a reason other teams didn't want them. The only real whiff I see is cutting Woods Richardson before they ever gave him a real chance in the bullpen.
  22. DJL44
I can't see them loading up the bullpen with four lefties.
  23. DJL44
One strikeout in 10 batters is well below par for Rojas.
  24. DJL44
It has been pretty much the same defense in St. Paul.
  25. DJL44
Buxton is signed for two more seasons beyond this one, until age 34. They can wait another season before they talk about extending him for ages 35-36. The new CBA is going to put a hold on extension talk for everyone anyway.
