But did he hit the bull?

Mauer bashing is really the most boring thing. I can't watch a game at a St. Paul bar without someone muttering "$23 million" whenever Mauer makes an out. I've stopped trying to argue with any of those lunks.

It's the contract extensions that annoy me the most.

I'm more pissed about the use of Meyer than anything else this season. And that includes putting Sano in the outfield. His one big league start, his fastball looked terrifying (for batters, that is).

Gah you just reminded me of CARK PAVANO (Carl Pavano) Thanks for that. What's next? Tone Fiore?

The Twins are the Black Knight, that's for sure. This is us playing the White Sox... http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/villains/images/9/97/Blackknight.png/revision/latest?cb=20100227224111

Another month of this and you have to blow it up and send at least 4 of the veterans packing, Dozier included.

Didn't we get someone for Drew Butera too?

Yeah these at-bats are bumming me out. I know they can do better!
  14. blindeke
yeah but it's snowing a bit right now!

Key question for me: Will he be better or worse the Delmon Young in the outfield?
  16. blindeke
    so, AAA then?

Interesting detail about Meyer. I hope it works!

fun to think about the lineup. who bats 3/4? 2B - Brian Dozier 1B - Joe Mauer RF - Miguel Sano 3B - Trevor Plouffe DH - Byung Ho Park LF - Eddie Rosario SS - Eduardo Escobar C - Suzuki/ Murphy CF - Byron Buxton

"I noted several times that even as pitches were being made, his back was to the batter, and they were standing outside the dugout." So this is bad, then? Seems like a ball could do some damage if he wasn't looking. Kinda like the selfie people in the box seats.

    Thanks for these notes!

    We need him!

I sure hope you're right about Mauer and Meyer! That would make me thrilled.

What are the odds there'd be two pitchers with glasses pictured in one article?

Please no comparisons between the Twins and the Vikings. #karma

Sano in the OF is not a good idea and that will become apparent as the pitching staff looks bad for the first half of the season. Not sure what will happen next. .500 team is a good ballpark.
