  1. Gibson not as sharp as his recent outings, but getting away with it.... so far.
  2. Are you willing to trade Kepler? He seems to be a sacred cow around here, even though he hasn't really progressed much this year.
  3. Catching Berrios is never going to be a walk in the park, and when he starts losing it, it gets that much tougher.
  4. I'm watching on MLB.tv and can't hear Dick or LaTroy. Not that that's really horrible...
  5. Not sure I get taking Gibson out after 81 pitches.
  6. Twins really need a good start from Gibson tonight.
  7. Detroit had a great owner
  8. By OPS Mauer .861 Rosario .942 Sano .843 Dozier 1.027 Buxton .973 Polanco 1.107
  9. Who exactly is doing that? I must have missed it.
  10. That's what I see too. More movement on his pitches for some reason.
  11. If Buxton becomes Eric Davis part 2 I'd be thrilled. Career of .269/.359./.841. and great defensively.
  12. Oh God, Pelfrey is pitching, the game will now go an hour longer than it needs to.
  13. The pitching will determine our wild card fate. If Santana and Berrios can pitch well down the stretch and maybe someone in the back half of the rotation can be decent we should be in good shape.
  14. OK, I'm watching the game on MLB.tv, so I'm about 2 innings behind, but do we really need Buxton stealing with a big lead, and possibly jamming a finger or thumb or getting his hand stepped on or some other injury? Risk/reward doesn't seem to be worth it.
  15. OK, I admit I'm a huge Rosario fan, but after watching him go on this multiple month tear, just how good can he become?
  16. Colon is handing out homers like candy on holloween. He can stop anytime, OK.
  17. I think this has been discussed before. Buxton is fast, but not world class sprinter fast.
  18. Lost in all the home runs was Hildenbergers double play ball after relieving Santana. Huge moment in the game.
  19. Well, It's the CF'ers job to be traffic cop out there and I didn't see Buxton calling anyone off.
  20. Dozier tried to pull an outside pitch. Result, a ground ball to third.
  21. That fly ball is a perfect example of why Rosario's defensive numbers don't look good this year. Both could have caught it but Buxton did so Rosario gets dinged for that.
  22. That's what really good players do. If they aren't hitting they contribute defensively.
