    No, they are not equally bad, Colon's numbers are even worse that Gibsons.

    I DON'T get what anyone sees in Colon. He's sucked all of year and he's 44 freaking years old, yet some on here expect some kind of Jesus like resurrection from him. He's done, he can barely make it through 5 innings on a good day, taxing our already overworked bullpen. The decision to keep him for even 1 more start is horse manure.

    I think his defense is better the the numbers show. Yeah, he makes a bonehead play/throw now and then but but he also makes plays that a lot of other outfielders can't make (the recent Detroit game for example). He's up to .294/.331/.479 and trending in the right direction. I'm in no hurry to replace him.
