    My assumption on "one" pitcher needing to go to AAA, is being replaced by a position player. Now that Guerrier is up, two pitchers need to go to AAA, but since Guerrier is a crap shoot and Deduno can only go 4 innings they have to keep a 13th pitcher. You may be right that Gardy was frustrated as a result of Arcia aggravating his injury on the day he was supposed to be called up. Good point on Parms, either he's too valuable to risk later or he isn't valuable enough to risk losing Burton or Florimon over. I'm better latter.... Sad...

    Or he could rot in triple A while a 35 washed up old gas been reliever continues to make the roster a 13, man staff at the expense of the bench.

    Darnell pitched very well, but one of the relievers had to go down. It might as well be the guy with the most to benefit by being a starter. However, it shouldn't have been Guerrier to come up, it should gave been Parmelee. Edit: I'm not certain Gruyere was Gardy's call, seems more like a trade bait move than building a flexible roster move. Right now Gardy is screwed and you could see it in his face on the presser.

    My only hope was They planned on sending down Santana, but changed course since he has played so well. Hopefully Burton gets the flight to Rochester to make room for Parmelee.

    This game cements my positive impression of Danny Santana. Maybe he's not ready to stay, and maybe his fielding regresses, but dang he's fun to watch.
