    I give credit to the Padres more than I blame Prielipp or Shelton for the 5th. They found the holes and moved runners. If Tatis’ grounder is a foot or two closer to Kody, it’s another inning-ending double play and tied at 2. Picking up Ty France at a million and change for this kinda production is mind blowing. Had to do a double take when I saw his numbers. Need the bats to work some longer counts - or at least have some more productive at-bats. Trevor Larnach, my dude, where have you gone??

    Damn, Dubón was pissed! I couldn't believe he didn't get tossed. Wished they had shown other replays. Looked like the right call but hard to tell from the angle they showed. What a gutsy gamble by JB on the double. Heckuva way to have a 5-4 homestand. I'll be thrilled with a 3-3 road trip. At this rate, we are going to have Games That Matter in September, and that's about all this Twins fan could've hoped for, especially when Pablo went down for the season on the first day of Spring Training. As it currently stands, Shelton has to be a frontrunner for Manager of the Year. Who has it better than us, huh? ;)

    Probably should've had an RBI in the 8th last night. Possibly saved the game in the field on Monday. Sure, he's been cold lately, but Clemens is pretty much indispensable to this team. Pretty low on my Twins worry list at the moment.

    Shelty's postgame interview was a fun one. A few references to his terse interview after Sunday's game. Said he didn't even talk to the players after Sunday's game because (paraphrasing here) talking to the team after a loss like that is for the manager's benefit, not the players'.

    100%. To his credit, he's managed to me the past two like a guy who knows what's at stake. I expect (no, demand!) the team plays with piss and vinegar today. To head to San Diego just 2 games under .500 after the Philly series would be massive.

    Taj Bradley bounce-back game incoming! I wanna see some TB swagger on the mound today. It feels like a great day for a sweep to me. The last home sweep against Detroit back in April seems like a lifetime ago.
