  1. Something else that ticked me off: How did no one from Prielipp’s family go to the game?! Lmao. Dude pitched well, all things considered. Steady as they come!
  2. I’ve watched probably 95% of Shelty’s televised post-game conferences. I know the RISP numbers are near the top of baseball overall, but, boy, has he said a variation of “We had opportunities. Just couldn’t capitalize” A LOT. Did today, too, of course,
  3. Yes, - if Austin Martin can’t lay down a bunt in that situation (and he wasn’t even close!), what’s he even doing on the roster? Gutsy team but just not ready for prime time. 3 walk-off losses that were each there for the taking, and yesterday’s game felt like a walk-off loss and was obviously winnable too.
  4. Agreed. Though I think in late September we’ll look back on early August, especially this road trip, as a turning point. But who knows, they’ve surprised us already. Not illegal to have a great homestand,
  5. Can someone show me where to find RISP stats online? I knew there would be regression but this seems like a total nose dive the past 6 weeks or so.
  6. 6 losses, 5 by one-run. Dang, if they had just won a couple of those, hell, even one!
  7. Plouffe: Josh has to get the runner over at least. …Pop up to the left side. 🤬 I agree with the previous post - this truly was the road trip from hell. Kody’s ultimate grand slam seems like forever ago. Gotta go 6-3 on this homestand to even stay relevant. See you at Target Field tomorrow night!
  8. He’s probably a bit sore too from the HBPs and the foul ball off the shin.
  9. I’m calling (manifesting) it: We’re winning today! Huge opportunity for the Big Tomah in front of family & friends.
  10. I thought Brooks’ warning track AB was gone. Apparently he did too, at first. Same with Larnach in the 9th. Looked like it might get out off the bat.
  11. I would love to know which of these close losses lately have led to Shelton losing his sh*t in the clubhouse. I can tell he has it in him. Between the walks and bad throws, questionable non-send by the third base coach, bad base running, some undisciplined at-bats and not diving at catchable balls with the game on the line, etc., - plus some plain bad luck - this one tonight might’ve broken the skipper.
  12. I’ll be back at it tomorrow and still cling to hope, but this is just not a serious team. Flawed all around. So many little mistakes tonight. Until I see footage otherwise, I still think Jeffers should’ve scored on Lewis’ double.
  13. Yeah, what was Plouffe talking about? Diving for it was hardly going to make it a double had he missed.
  14. Can’t help but be happy on many levels about Kody F’s resurgence. Nice going, man!
  15. Does Kody have an RBI since the walk-off? He seems out of sync.
