  1. At this point, I would give them an 'incomplete'. I would like to think there will be some trades and roster refinement before opening day. If the roster stays like it is for opening day, then they get an 'F'.
  2. In 2025, PECOTA predicted the Twins to have 86.2 wins and finish in first place...not very accurate.
  3. No sugar coating it...this year is not looking good for our beloved Twins. Wouldn't be surprised if they finish last in the division. Hope I am wrong.
  4. Nice that they are filling out the St. Paul roster...it looks like they should be pretty good. I just wish they would add to the big league club as well.
  5. Roden deserves a real shot to prove himself. Outman has got to go.
  6. Barring a trade, I'd like to see Culpepper break camp as the starting SS. At least he has a chance to be adequate at SS. Lee is a utility infielder at best and has no chance at being a good regular.
  7. I don't think either of those Mets players are worth trading young starters for. What the Twins really need is someone who can play SS.
  8. I would be on board to trade Ryan while his value is high. Otherwise, if trying to compete this year, I would try to trade SWR or Ober for a couple of bullpen arms...say to Colorado for Vodnik and Mejia as an example. If rebuilding, then I trade Jeffers; if not, then I trade or try to stash Jackson and not worry about getting anything for Jeffers if he can't be extended. Larnach and/or Wallner need to be traded, no matter what. It seems Wallner would have a better return. Trading both would be good...clear some room for Jenkins and EmRod. Outman needs to be DFAd. It would be worth taking a flyer on Kopech, whether trying to compete or not. Potential for a high reward.
  9. He wasn't great, but he wasn't terrible. The Pohlads are responsible (right sizing the payroll) for some of his negatives. Hopefully the new guy Zoll will be better.
  10. Falvey wasn't great, but he was far from terrible. He did some good things. It was the "right-sizing of the payroll" after 2023 that proved to be his undoing. Hopefully Zoll is better.
  11. Given his injury issues the need to limit his innings is there. Good reason for him to go to the pen where he might be very good.
  12. I would keep him as a starter. He has had some great games and just needs to be more consistent...which comes with experience. I could see him having a break out year.
  13. I think Simeon Woods-Richardson to Colorado for Viktor Vodnik and Juan Mejia would be a good trade.
