  1. I believe he will be okay as long as he stays healthy.
  2. Surprised at how much Clemens has been used at 2B...I thought he would be more 1B.
  3. Not happening...he won't play enough games in MLB. He would need to start the season with the big club and have a great season to win ROTY. Maybe next year. For this year, my money is on McGonigle in the AL and Konnor Griffin in the NL.
  4. He could platoon with Clemens at first base if Larnach is traded and Bell becomes the DH, which would make the defense better.
  5. I'll believe he's not washed up when I see that he is not washed up.
  6. More outfielders are not needed, and Clemens doesn't need accommodation. Let him settle in and get good at 2nd base for crying out loud.
  7. Buxton. If he stays healthy all season, he has a chance to finish in the top 5.
  8. I think we'll see Lewis have his best season yet (in terms of WAR).
  9. There is definitely room to be worried about Ober. Hate to say it, but he might be washed up. Hope not. He can't afford to lose any velocity. No matter how you slice it, nothing in the last year has gone well for him.
  10. I am hoping that Larnach (or Wallner) is traded (and Outman DFAd). Would rather watch the young guys have a chance.
  11. Hopefully he can be an adequate hitter. I have my doubts.
  12. I think Keaschall will be better defensively...with the chance to be much better because of his athleticism and his arm more fully recovered. Let him settle in at second base; they don't need another outfielder. Brooks Lee can be a utility player once a shortstop is found.
  13. I'm sure he will make the team despite the fact that he isn't very good.
  14. I think he'll have his best year in terms of WAR if he remains healthy.
  15. He has looked really good so far...both offensively and defensively.
  16. EmRod was outstanding both offensively and defensively...looks way better than Wallner.
  17. I look at their FIP rather than ERA, and their numbers are much better. That and their numbers are also much better when going through the order the first time, which indicates that they would do better on short relief stints as opposed to starting and going through the order multiple times.
  18. Festa and Prielipp at least have a chance to be better than the rest of the mediocre bullpen arms. They have the upside of being the only legitimate high-leverage options on the roster.
  19. Good article. It will be interesting to see which young arm(s) step up. I think Zebby will have a breakout year.
