  1. My money is on Abel starting the year in AAA due to seniority.
  2. I agree as well. Let the kids pitch. Based on FIP, I think Zebby is going to have a breakout year.
  3. He has only had 826 MLB at-bats, so he deserves another year to figure it out. Safe to say it is a make-or-break year for Wallner. I hope he does well, but so far, he has been pretty brutal to watch.
  4. As far as Hendriks goes, I will believe it when I see it. I hope he is great. I hope the overall bullpen is passable, but again, I will believe it when I see it.
  5. Interesting concept. They are going to need pitching anyway...you can never have too much. Why not invest in an extension with Pablo at a team-friendly, reasonable rate? I vote yes.
  6. Admittedly, it doesn't look good for our Twins...but there is a chance they defy expectations and put together a winning season. That's why they play the games.
  7. I find it hard to believe they will carry four left-handers on the opening day roster. I would guess that Chafin and Funderburk are competing for a spot...
  8. I think the bullpen is a no-brainer...he could be an elite closer IMO.
  9. The article only looks at the players not on the 40-man roster.
  10. Can't believe Outman has a 40-man spot. He needs to be DFAd and released.
  11. He might be the best currently in the Twins pen, but I wouldn't call him elite.
  12. I wouldn't mind trading him for a couple of high-leverage bullpen arms or possibly a shortstop. I would rather have Zebby and Taj fill out the back end of the rotation.
  13. Ahhh! Spring training. I can smell it from here.
  14. I don't like the idea. It's like forcing a square peg into a round hole. It takes away from the natural flow of the game when a starter goes as long as he can and then go from there.
  15. Would love to see him have a big spring and break camp with the big club.
  16. Woohoo!!! He becomes the best reliever in the pen. Also means that Prielipp won't be rushed to make the team out of spring training.
  17. He has nothing to prove at AAA and should be getting big league experience...but there are other guys ahead of him that are in the same boat, so he will be starting at St. Paul.
  18. Can't wait until they make a move that actually improves the big league club...
  19. I am worried that Ober is washed up. I think Prielipp makes the team in the pen and has a chance to be the new closer. We will see...
