    Maybe the answer is yes. Neither one of these guys is a great leader. Saying you want to be a leader (C4) and having a title of a leader (Rocco) doesn’t mean you’re actually gonna be able to effectively lead a team. Rocco did fine when he had Cruz and the bomba squad. Cruz was a leader and he didn’t have to strategize. Correa was fine when he was with a strong group in Houston and will be fine there again. Maybe he wasn’t ready/able to be the main guy in MN. Ultimately this is a top down problem from the Pohlads to Falvey. For the last 163 games it has shown up on the field.

    I got a little too excited with the performance last week. This week is the complete opposite. I guess all I can hope for is that they play somewhere in between.

    Looks like that Thursday game was as close as we’re gonna get in this series. Ugly. Ryan And Ober are the only two starting pitchers we have so we only have a chance every two out of five games.

    Beef Stew had a 4.91 era in 4 outings with the Dodgers and is now on the IL. I didn’t like the trade at the time but Stewart has already pitched more innings in 25 than he ever has in MLB. Jury is still out on this trade.

    We are 15 days out from expanded rosters. Who’s coming up? Only rules- they have to be on the 40 and the roster can only have 14 pitchers. Pitcher - goes to SWR, Pablo. Whoever is most ready by then. I’m sick of these BP games so add a starter. End the season with 5 man rotation - Ryan, Ober, Matthews, SWR, Lopez. Batter - give McCusker another shot? I’d rather do something outside the box like see what Fedko can do. He’s a rule 5 guy and needs to be protected if they like him. Love to hear other names/ideas from y’all as well.

    Dan Hayes/Gleeman both reporting that he needs to ramp up in AAA and then he may be in line to make 3 to 4 starts by the end of the year. Pablo wants a close to normal off season and the Twins, if they are going to shop him, will want other teams to see that he is back. My hope is that we find out who these limited partners are fairly quickly and that they are smart and can convince Joe Pohlad that Buck, Ryan, Lopez, Keaschall can keep us fans interested.
