    You’re correct on the small sample size, and the fact that Bride has reverse splits, meaning he is better against righties than lefties. For a data driven team we sometimes don’t use all of the data that is available to us.

    I don’t think one batter is enough to make a difference. Since the winning streak, only Buck, Lee, and Castro have been hitting well consistently. This offense won’t go anywhere unless Correa, Jeffers, Wallner, Larnach (the list goes on) start to hit at or preferably above league average consistently.

    I suspect that most teams are circling their dates with the Twins on the calendar as a “get right” series. I did vote yes for will the Twins win today. It is getting harder and harder to see a way out of this though.
