    I'm not saying give him innings in MLB, try to coach him right in AAA. He has some nice pitches, definately has had MLB success in the past. But please get him off the 25 ASAP.

    I believe he needs to be sent to AAA, not released. Bring up JO and don't think twice. But Gibson still has too much talent to not give a shot to get right.

    Nice intro. Boyd isn't exactly an ace, I'd like to see us get to him this time. Also like the lineup construction with Sano being bracketed by Polanco and Grossman. I'm optimistic, go Twins.

    I do not believe Allen is as good a goalie as he has looked. He flat out stole game 1. If he regresses to just "very good" instead of effing Dominik Hasek in his prime, the Wild could win the next three. But even then it is incredibly hard road against a good defensive team.

    Duffy most certainly did not suck as a starter. His rookie year he was nothing short of awesome. Last year he lacked fine fastball control and maybe lost a half tick of velocity. This is the extremely fine line he walks, and I wonder why it's worth skirting that pencil thin threshhold. He is clearly comfortable and successful in the pen. That 1 mph FB increase the article alluded to could be huge for a pitcher with Duffy's repertoire. It's easier to maintain fastball control in shorter stints. All signs point to letting him stay in the pen. Let him excell and pay him like an elite RP. Everybody wins.

    It might score more runs in THAT at-bat, but does it create more runs over the course of the inning?

    Gibson to AAA to work on stuff would get us to 12 pitchers. We already have Haley and Duffman who can give us multiple innings, we certainly don't need a third. I want that extra bat.

    Why are you patronizing us all by pointing out things even a third grader could have predicted Nick? Give us at least a little credit, no one here had Cleveland pitching seeing the underside of a 6.0 ERA.

    Only if they are below .500 and the return is awesome. Hindsight is 20-20, but I think we are 8-4, maybe 9-3 with a good bench bat instead of that 13th pitcher. Hope they get it right, either way. Would be nice to bank as many wins as possible.
