  1. This inning's insurance runs brought to you by Flo and Progressive.
  2. I think Duffy has another inning in him.
  3. Weeeeeeeeellll, it's close. He's been absolutely money in the field.
  4. I make "incidental" contact until I get thrown out.
  5. Agreed, but man I hate to lose that elite CF play.
  6. Oh Buxton. You strikeout more than me at a singles bar.
  7. Not exactly Ardolis Chapman. But he's hitting his spots with his 89mph fastball.
  8. Congrats, you're the Galileo of Twins Daily.
  9. "7th inning." Legally owned and operated by the Minnesota Twins.
  10. I'm not sure, if it was me I'd like some intensity from my catcher.
  11. Hughes was good. Well, Hughes and Buxton were good.
  12. Also, I honestly believe that If JRM had won the backup job and was catching tonight, we'd be down by 3 or 4. I really like both our catchers.
  13. Huge props to Hughes. I thought it would be a long asz game after the first, but he settled in and has pitched really well. I am impressed.
  14. Starting? Where have you been for the last year and a half?
  15. If you were set on playing Rosario and Santana at RF and DH, I would probably put Rosario in the field. He must really want to get DanSan some fielding reps.
  16. Potentially, there's nothing strictly wrong with that. But then your bench guys better be awfully good. Backup catcher, Escobar...IDK, but DS isn't it. Almost has to be another starting caliber OF at that point. Tough to make work, just drop to 12 Ps.
  17. There's always an advantage in bringing in local talent. The situation called for a low risk, high reward chance. No downside here. None.
  18. Won't be interesting, will be a wonderful problem to have. Bring it on, I could use a few more good problems. I hope they both light it up.
  19. That's a dangerous precedent to set.
  20. He walked in a run. I will take that result 100% of the time. That IS one correct approach that conformed to that situation.
  21. 3ER through 5 2/3. WHIP almost 2. Two looooong fly balls caught with the OFs back literally touching the wall.
  22. So you're advocating our guys to swing at pitches out of the zone based on where they hit in the lineup...got it. Oh, and also pass up the free run they're going to give you. Just put the bat on the ball there Joe, a fly out would at least mean you're TRYING TO bat cleanup.
