  1. I think the reason Lee is untouchable is because of when Polanco leaves. Either after this season or in a trade he would take over at second.
  2. I never said any specific trade packages I just said that those players would be included in packages with other prospects. Sorry if I made it a little hard to understand.
  3. After reading I definitely think that we should move Polanco and Kepler. Polanco could be used to acquire a controllable started along the likes of Freddie Peralta. Kepler I think should be moved for a more controllable outfielder with a very similar yet more consistent hitting profile in Lane Thomas. I would also be willing to move either Farmer or Larnach to get Alek Manoah and possibly sign someone like Whit Merrifield or Kevin Kiermaier. As for a Polanco replacement I think that it would be good to give Brooks Lee a legitimate shot at taking the starting job at second.
  4. Yes it is. It would probably include Farmer instead of one of the prospects because of the Merrifield signing I also put on.
  5. This how I would create the Twins roster. I would first sign Sonny Gray to a 4 year $72 million dollar contract. Then I would sign Eduardo Rodriguez to a 6 year $102 million dollar contract. I would also sign Whit Merrifield for two years $11 million and Will Smith to one year $2.5 million. My final move would be to trade Max Kepler, Jovani Moran, Simeon Woods Richardson, and Brent Headrick C: Ryan Jeffers ($2.30M) 1B: Alex Kirilloff ($1.70M) 2B: Jorge Polanco ($10.50M) 3B: Royce Lewis ($0.77M) SS: Carlos Correa ($33.33M) LF: Matt Wallner ($0.77M) CF: Byron Buxton ($15.00M) RF: Lane Thomas ($7.30M) DH: Edouard Julien ($0.77M) 4th OF: Willi Castro ($3.20M) Utility: Trevor Larnach ($0.77M) Utility: Whit Merrifield ($5.5M) Backup C: Christian Vazquez ($10.00M) SP1: Pablo Lopez ($8.25M) SP2: Joe Ryan ($0.77M) SP3: Bailey Ober ($0.77M) SP4: Sonny Gray ($18M) SP5: Eduardo Rodriguez ($17M) RP: Jhoan Duran ($0.77M) RP: Brock Stewart ($0.77M) RP: Griffin Jax ($0.77M) RP: Chris Paddack ($2.53M) RP: Caleb Thielbar ($3M) RP: Louie Varland ($0.77M) RP: Will Smith ($2.5M) RP: Kody Funderburk ($0.77M) Payroll is 0.95% under budget
  6. Here is my all time twins team (I have more memory of recent teams so there are more current players than former ones I am also making a full 26 man roster). Starting Lineup C: Joe Mauer 1B: Justin Morneau 2B: Jorge Polanco 3B: Harmon Killebrew SS: Carlos Correa LF: Torii Hunter CF: Byron Buxton RF: Kirby Puckett DH: Byron Buxton Rotation: Johan Santana, Bert Blyleven, Jim Kaat, Pablo Lopez, Sonny Gray Bullpen: Joe Nathan, Jhoan Duran, Taylor Rogers, Glen Perkins, Eddie Guardado, Rick Aguilera, Caleb Thielbar, Al Worthington Bench: Royce Lewis, Kent Hrbek, Luis Arraez, Ryan Jeffers
  7. Or what Arizona did with Corbin Carroll after playing like 10 games last season
  8. Royce Lewis deserves an extension what are some of your proposals? Here is mine 8 years $96,000,000 with incentives.
  9. That is really interesting. I have always liked him since the trade and I have him on my fantasy team as well.
  10. I did not know he was extended how much longer is he here for?
  11. I like this idea. Julien in for Gordon. Then send down Castro when Kepler is back. I think Julien could do wonders playing infield. Maybe give Farmer some days off and he okays third? He could be a good lead off guy so we don’t have to keep seeing Kepler there everyday.
  12. That sounds great I thought that Magda would be better out of the pen than in the rotation. Even if they do send him back to the rotation I still think they should keep Varland at the majors.
  13. Donovan Solano and Willi Castro have had horrible starts so far this year and it is causing a lot of issues for the team. While Castro will most likely be in AAA when Lewis comes back I think we need to DFA Solano and recall Julien for the long term. Thoughts?
  14. A challenge system for balls and strikes needs to at least be implemented this is an absolute joke
  15. We need Edouard Julien. He was great during the WBC and showed that he can hit well at the majors so what is the hold up? Also bring back Larnach I can’t believe Willi Castro even made the roster in the first place, all he has been is a stinker at majors.
  16. While I am bummed about Mahle I am also excited that Ober will be in the rotation for the rest of the year most likely. Now we need to get the bats to start hitting well.
  17. Per MLB Trade Rumors, Tyler Mahle will undergo Tommy John surgery and is expected to miss all of this year and part of next year. Do the Twins re-sign him to an extension in hopes he'll take the free rehab facilities in trade for a year of pitching in 2025? https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2023/05/tyler-mahle-tommy-john-surgery-twins.html

  19. Whatever happens is what happens my point though is that I would like to see Kirilloff and Larnach on the same team however that looks. I am gonna be honest i don’t understand the Solano signing really all that much. They should have had Julien on the opening day roster instead. Same with Ober.
  20. Here is my proposal Buxton in center, Taylor to the bench Gallo moves to left Kepler stays in right Kirilloff to first Larnach rotates between left, dh, and bench
  21. While I know that the Trade Deadline is still a couple of months away I figured I could try and come with a few deals for the team to make, these deals really focus hard on the teams bullpen, the teams that they would be trading with are the Rockies, Royals, and Nationals. Here they are. Twins get: Brad Hand Rockies get: Cole Sands, Sean Mooney Twins get: Scott Barlow Royals get: Emilio Pagan, Matt Wallner Twins get: Hunter Harvey, Jake Bennett Nationals get: Donovan Solano, Jovani Moran In these trades we are giving up the bottom end of our pen but the improvements being received will be very beneficial. While people will be confused with Matt Wallner and Donovan Solano’s inclusion in these deals, while I would like to have them stay they are very expendable with Royce Lewis coming in for Solano and Wallner having multiple players ahead of him (Gallo, Kepler, Kirilloff, Larnach) I do think that these are the best deals for these types of players. Thoughts?
  22. I used my service creds so that is probably why.
