    My radio experience is mainly limited to the NY and Philly markets. This was back in the 60's and 70's. When I was a kid it was Lindsay Nelson, Bob Murphy, and Ralph Kiner for the Mets...and I was a die hard Mets fan. The Yankees had Frank Messer, Bill White, and Phil Rizzuto...I hated the Yanks and still do. Philly had Harry Kalas, Rich Ashburn, and Andy Musser. At night on AM radio from the NY area, I used to be able to get games at times from Det, Chi, Cleve, and StL. Not all the time, but sometimes. Can't remember who all the announcers were...Det had Ernie Harwell, Cleve had Herb Score. Those two I remember. I fell asleep many a night listening to one game or another on my old AM radio. Didn't move to Mn until 82, and then I had the pleasure of listening to Herb Carneal.

    The FO, for putting this roster together...and a second choice, for whatever malaise (strike out fever?) came over our players when they're batting. Whether that's due to coaching, or their own ineptitude.

    There's no doubt that Cleve is doing all they can NOT to win this lousy division. The question is...will that be enough for us to do it?

    We finally got him a few runs, and it was enough to hang on. Nice to see him get the win.

    In a season full of strange lineups...this one ranks right up there. Ryan to the IL with a groin strain and Keuchel up? That's convenient.

    I've been around the block more than a few times, and seen many baseball players/pitchers and games. I don't think I've ever seen a pitcher give up the long ball like Ryan's done the last month. It's off the charts incredible.

    Damn...that was actually a pretty good pitch. O'Neill just went and got it. Ryan giving up another homer...not good.

    Ryan looked pretty shaky in that 1st inning. A lot of pitches and not much command. Hopefully he cleans it up and keeps the ball in the yard.

    I believe his father is Dutch and his mother is Japanese. He was born in California.

    Buxton scratched due to something going on with his right hammy.

    Hopefully, we get some run support early for Ryan...and also hopefully, he doesn't start losing baseballs over the fence. Hudson doesn't strike a lot of guys out, so maybe we can keep the K total under 10? Let's knock him out in the first few innings just to make sure, and just keep piling the runs on tonight! Bounce back game for Ryan!

    Much more concerned about AK. We need him back, and we need him healthy.

    I guess we'll find out in a day or two. I honestly don't see him helping on the major league roster, and I'm not sure why we signed him in the first place. Unless we finally dump Gallo, to bring up Keuchel, I'm fine with him leaving the organization.

    Here's a little something to take your minds off the events of the day...a Miguel Sano sighting! We needed a righty bat, and he seems ready to jump...or roll...right back into action!
