Big win. It was especially nice to see Giolito get shelled! I hope they saved a little in the tank for Gray today. It would be great to get him a win, they way he's been pitching. I know what Tito was doing yesterday, but it's still ridiculous to have a position player pitching in the 6th inning! That shouldn't be allowed. In any event, let's get a couple more wins out in Cleveland!

Headrick was only slightly better than Fry was.

Gallo sure can hit those 60 mph heaters.

Too bad they sent Sands down. This game would be perfect for him to eat some innings.
  5. CRF
The game is over...let's not let ANYBODY get hurt the rest of the way.
  6. CRF
Maybe Gallo can hit this guy!

    Concur.

Obviously, Tito's waving the white flag, but this shouldn't be allowed. I don't think anyone wants to see a non pitcher on the mound...especially this early.

I don't think I've ever seen a manager put a position player on the mound in the 6th inning. Amazing.

C'mon Lewis...wtf was that? Only 2 run single? Back to StP for you.
  11. CRF
Lewis again with the bases juiced! Can he?
  12. CRF
I think we should keep this Lewis kid!

Giolito is all over the place. Over 50 pitches in the 2nd inning. Time to bust this thing open.
  14. CRF
    I'm liking that lineup.
  15. CRF
Yeah, this is #2 for him. He wasn't charged in the first incident, but I don't know if that will have any bearing on this one. In any event, he's going to be looking at a lengthy suspension.

I'd take just about anyone over Sands and Floro. Keuchel needs to go too.

Time to get some chow going on the grill. Have a good evening everyone. See you in Cleveland tomorrow night!

Disappointing loss, but to take the series down there is a good thing. On to Cleve and hopefully, take 2 of 3 there too.

These have been three emotionally and physically draining games...and I'm sitting on my couch! I'm guessing it's a little tough on the players too!

CC is really snake-bit on the DP's. It's some kind of self fulfilling prophecy. It's automatic.
  21. CRF
    ...or not.
  22. CRF
Now is the time for CC to deliver a big hit!
  23. CRF
Lewis is putting the team on his back. Without him, we're doing nothing.
  24. CRF
Sands really needs to hit the bricks. He's just not very good. Definitely not a major league pitcher. How many times does the FO and Rocco need to see him come in and barf all over the place?
  25. CRF
Thanks Mr Lewis! Now, we need Kenta to hold them from scoring any more runs.
