    Louie's last two starts have been terrible. He better get straightened out once the season starts. I just hope that we don't regret not bringing another starter on board. I think we're gonna need one.

    I don't think the Twins have to worry about KC yet. It's Detroit that I'm concerned about. They've got a very good young core and are getting better fast. They could be real trouble for us.

    Jesse Chavez. Anybody seen or heard from him? Does he qualify as a former Twin? It looked like we had him for a few hours, but it was a pipe dream. He was great while we had him. Would love to see him come back!

    I honestly have no idea what to make of this signing. I guess my first thought was...wtf? There had to be better options out there.

    Yeah...they can put the bag on that little aspect of the HR celebration. Just my opinion...I always thought the vest and the pole were pretty lame. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for doing something celebratory and fun, but they need to come up with a better plan. I hope they do. Go ahead...hit me with the thumbs down(s).

    There's no doubt that he's going to be a big part of this team in the future, but I agree that he should be in StP and work on a few things. He definitely has skills and we'll be seeing him soon enough.

    We're gonna need him to be able to hold his own in the rota and pitch effectively. He's got the tools, he just needs to use them the right way, and also keep an even keel out there. He can't let his emotions get the better of him. Let's go Louie! You got this!

    The trade for Pablo Lopez was fine. The trade for Jorge Lopez wasn't.

    No way do I want Hill back. Lorenzen would be my choice. I'd settle for Clevenger, but I can't see that happening. Probably, we'll just do absolutely nothing. I think if we were going to do something, it would have been done already.

    Sands HAS to be to guy to go.

    I don't know if he's "better" than Varland, and I don't know if there needs to be some kind of comparison between them. I like Louie a lot and think he's going to be solid. I just think Lorenzen would be a good signing, even if it's just as a kind of an insurance policy. You can't convince me that the powers that be, aren't able to cough up another $20 mil over two years for him. That's chump change these days.

    Louie can absolutely take the 5th starter gig, but Falvey should be on the phone to Lorenzen's agent this afternoon. They won't get Snell or Montgomery, but Lorenzen is an affordable option and he can start or relieve.

    If DeSclafani isn't headed for a TJ, I'd be absolutely shocked. I'd rather have Louie in that rota spot anyway. Not having Duran could hurt a lot...Jax and Stewart need to step up.
