  1. This team needs ALL three of those guys back, and 100% healthy...as soon as possible. We're a complete mess without them.
  2. Wow! Somebody is sticking a pin into a voodoo doll dressed in a Twins uni. The injuries are off the charts.
  3. We have two more games here with Det...then 7 of the next 10 are against the ChiSox. 4 of them here right after Det leaves, then we go to LA for 3, and then we're at Chi for 3. We should know pretty definitively how bad we are after that. If the sox somehow kick our butts, then we might as well start planning for next season, because the hole will be pretty deep. If we can, let's say...take 6 of the 7 from Chi, then all hope isn't lost yet. Yes, it's early, but getting this far behind, this early, is real hard to come back from.
  4. Bad game, same result, no end in sight. Same old, same old. Buxton needs to be sent to StP to figure out wtf he's doing...or trying to do.
  5. I spoke too soon...my bad. There's a few hearty people starting to filter in there. God bless em...I hope we get a win for them.
  6. Looks like a covid game. There's nobody there.
  7. Grew up in the NY/NJ area and always loved the Mets. All Twins since I moved here in 82. I've got a buddy who loves the Cards, so I follow them a bit too. I try and stay up on all MLB because of my fantasy teams.
  8. I honestly don't know if it's going to get to 40. That might be very optimistic. Unless the sun pokes out for a while, it's not going to happen. I'm just south of the cities and it's 36 degrees here right now at 3pm. I wouldn't be surprised if it's low to mid 30's at game time. Supposed to be 20-30 mph winds too. If anyone is going tonight, they better bundle up real good. It's going to be damn cold. Way too cold for me to sit out there.
  9. Certainly a sign of the coming apocalypse.
  10. You want positive? I'm positive we're not this bad, and I'm positive it'll get better.
  11. It's an organizational issue, not an individual issue. Firing coaches, or even Baldelli for that matter, won't fix anything. This comes from the FO.
  12. Sure, it's great that Lopez and Ryan have progressed with their new pitches, but it's not going to translate to wins unless this team figures out wtf they're doing at the plate. You can't win many games getting 3 or 4 hits and scoring 1 or 2 runs.
  13. No, no, no!
  14. Wow...just wow. Maybe bow-wow.
  15. You can't make this sh*t up!
  16. We're gonna lose this game 1 (or more, when the pen gets in there) to 0. Pablo makes one bad pitch and we can't even scratch a run across the plate against a nobody pitcher, to at least tie it up! This is just a nightmare.
  17. WTF...That didn't take long.
  18. I hope Pablo brings his A+ game and puts plenty of zeros up there, because if he pitches a shutout...we might actually win this game.
  19. Objects in your mirror may be closer than they appear.
  20. How did this team win two games in Det?
  21. How about taking some pitches and making the pitcher work a bit? They're taking AB's like they have a plane to catch.
  22. Kind of surprised they sent Wallner down this soon. Sure, he had a rough ST and started the season the same way, but it's not like he's the only one on the team struggling. Options matter though, and he has some. I hope he's back soon. Meanwhile, I hope Larnach figured some things out and comes in and helps us. I guess we'll see soon enough.
  23. I guess the leash was pretty short. I'm sorry to see him get sent down. Hopefully he gets straightened out in StP and is back here soon.
  24. He's not the only guy doing zero at the plate. He's got plenty of company. Are you going to send the whole damn team to StP? I wouldn't give up on Wallner yet. If they keep yanking him in and out of the lineup, he's never going to adjust and figure it out. Sometimes, you just have to let these young guys take their lumps and learn what they need to do to stay in the majors. We're less than three weeks into the season, give it some time.
