    Oh boy.

Sure, the Twins and Orioles could line up on a "Match of needs". Could alien life forms from the 3I/Atlas comet, land and take over the planet? That could happen too.

You nailed it. WTF is up with keeping them?

The other day I listened to Shelton on KFAN with Barreiro. I was disappointed initially with his hiring, but I softened my stance after hearing him in that interview. I don't know if any of you heard it, but I'm sure it can be pod-casted. He may not succeed here due to the overall situation, but he seems like he's light years ahead in baseball knowledge than Baldelli ever was. Seems like a pretty good guy too. At least he has a personality and a sense of humor. I never got that feeling from listening to Baldelli. He was a robot who spoke nonsense most of the time. I'm still not entirely crazy about Shelton being the manager, but I'm willing to see what happens. He HAD to have learned something from his time in Pittsburgh. Maybe it will serve him well here. One thing I'd love to see...is bring Rowson in here as bench coach. Reportedly, they're in talks with him to do that.

    Gimme a break!

I agree with this. Miranda...for whatever reason...was never the same after he got hit in the head. Whether it was something physical, or mental, he never got back to where he was before that. He was never gonna be a gold glover, but he had potential as a hitter.

    Another baloney sammich.
  8. CRF
I sure hope not, but nothing this FO does would surprise me anymore.

Change? I believe there will absolutely be a change...we're gonna get worse than we already were.
  10. CRF
You nailed it. This wasn't a swing and a miss...this wasn't even a swing at all. The problem is much higher up than the manager.
  11. CRF
It's gonna be a 10 minute baloney fest, filled with Falvey's time tested special brand of word salad. Wouldn't miss it for the world!🤪
  12. CRF
Yes...I'd rather see either of those guys over Shelton. Maybe it wouldn't make one bit of difference, but that's my feeling.
  13. CRF
Kind of a surprise...but not really a surprise. I thought there might be a chance to bring Flaherty in here...or even give Rowson a shot, but it wasn't to be. At least Shelton is used to losing, because he's gonna do a lot of it here. Falvey needs to hit the bricks!
  14. CRF
Not in my lifetime...I'm confident of that. Maybe my grand kids will see it.
  15. CRF
    Low, low.......Looooooooooooooow.
  16. CRF
I'll be honest...I don't really have any idea what they're doing, and what the long range plan is. The problem is...I don't think Falvey does either.
  17. CRF
Jose Miranda? Never heard of the guy.
  18. CRF
Looks like we can cross one name off the list...it appears Kurt Suzuki is going to be the Angel's new manager.
  19. CRF
The key to getting any of these young(er) guys to reach their potential...whatever that might be...is to get a manager and coaching staff in here, that will actually help them get there. That wasn't happening the last 6-7 years.
  20. CRF
I'll be the first to say it...I just don't trust Falvey to make the right choice.
  21. CRF
    Huh?
  22. CRF
Well...it could be worse...the Pohlad's might not sell the team and keep us in terminal mediocrity. Oh, wait...never mind.
  23. CRF
    Dumpster diving 101.
  24. CRF
    No
  25. CRF
I don't think the word "creative" is in this FO's vocabulary.
