    I don't know about a DFA, but he certainly doesn't impress much since he's been here. If we've got better options, then by all means let him go.

    The ONLY thing that should matter, is that he's healthy and ready for the Twins season. The WBC doesn't even merit a thought.

    Yep...he was a scratch today with "right side tightness". Let's hope it's a nothing burger, but with him...you never know. Not a good omen, that's for sure.

    He doesn't have to be "elite"...just not be as bad as he was last season. Last Sept showed he might be starting to come around.

    They should have given both Larnach and Wallner some 1B reps years ago. Never could understand why they didn't. It made a helluva lot more sense to me than playing musical 1st baseman every season.

    If Hendriks has anything left, which is a big "IF". That would be very nice.

    These must be a set of the new home unis? Not bad. The red number on the back of the jersey is different. I kind of like them.

    There should be absolutely no rush to trade him. Let's face it...they're not going anywhere with him in the rotation, and they certainly wouldn't be going anywhere without him in the rotation. Once it gets closer to the deadline, then it would be the right time to see if there's a deal to be made. This is gonna be a very long season no matter what.

    One good starter in Ryan, one possibly good starter in Ober...and then a whole lotta question marks. Prayers will be appreciated.

    The door is wide open for a few of these guys. Whether or not any of them is successful at going thru it, remains to be seen.

    Would really like to see him figure some things out and have a big year. If he doesn't, it's time to let him go. You just can't keep these guys around forever when they don't produce.

    I don't think anyone has to worry about them "replacing" Lopez. You can't seriously expect them to spend any money on one of the few remaining FA pitchers out there, do you? Because, they won't.

    I have a real bad gut feeling that the pen is gonna be a total train wreck. It's gonna be fire, after fire, after fire. Closer? What do we need one of those for?

    Actually, they can and do happen over a period of time. It's call "accumulated microtrauma", and they lead to one final break/tear. Each pitch can cause tiny, barely noticeable tears, which accumulate over time. I'm not a doctor, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night.

    I know what they said last year, and I know what Zoll said this morning. I just find it very hard to believe. In any event, he's done for the year, and we probably went from 90 losses to over 100. It's gonna be another very long season.

    Lee needs to prove he can play a serviceable SS, improve at the plate, and stay off the IL. He's not gonna be CC in his prime, but he can't stink it up out there. Somewhere in between would be ok.
