    I'll be honest...I don't really have any idea what they're doing, and what the long range plan is. The problem is...I don't think Falvey does either.

    Looks like we can cross one name off the list...it appears Kurt Suzuki is going to be the Angel's new manager.

    The key to getting any of these young(er) guys to reach their potential...whatever that might be...is to get a manager and coaching staff in here, that will actually help them get there. That wasn't happening the last 6-7 years.

    Nothing against Suzuki, but another guy with zero managerial experience is the last thing this team needs right now.

    He's a utility player at best...nothing more, nothing less...but he's all we've got right now at SS.

    He wasn't the ONLY problem, but he was a big part of it. Unfortunately, we still have two thirds of the problem remaining.

    The wrong owners...picked the wrong guy to run everything...who is picking the wrong manager...probably twice! What could go wrong?

    Good or bad, right or wrong...the next stop for Maki and Borgshulte is the unemployment line. (Yeah, I know an unemployment line doesn't exist anymore...I'm showing my old age) Ok...the unemployment website! Just as long as they take Watkins with them when they go!

    As much as I liked Torii and Cruz as players, you can't bring one of those guys in to manage this team. Talk about being a puppet for Falvey, either of those two would assure it. Zero experience would be as bad as Rocco was when he first came on board. I don't know who it's going to end up being, but my choice would be this dude! He's well liked and respected, he's always smiling, has nice fur, and he must have absorbed SOMETHING about baseball over the many years he's roamed the stands. He's got my vote!

    I'm thinking they promote Toby Gardenhire to the big chair now. He'll be cheap, and he knows the players.

    As much as I wanted him gone...he's just the fall guy. Falvey needs to go too, and the problem of ownership still exists.

    For all of us...and I include myself in that group...who thought there was/is a chance the Pohlad's sell the team...I doubt it ever happens. They don't want to sell.

    ...and into the abyss we go. There is no hope, until the Pohlad's are no longer the owners.

    I was able to watch Abel pitch tonight. It seemed like Abel was able to locate all his pitches effectively. I think Abel will be able to be in the starting rotation next season. That's all I'm able to say about Abel at this time. WHEW!
