  1. How long were the wait times for food?
  2. I was there with you. But the important thing is to get the call correct. I've said this before and will say it again, Correa can sure play glove.
  3. I get the feeling some major disappointment is coming your way when the roster expands and Kyle Garlick is back with the Twins.
  4. I need 18 more regular season Twins victories for a vegas payout. It feels like they are going to come up short,
  5. so what was that talk of what the Twins need in the 'second' round of the playoffs?
  6. at least the Twins have their "A" squad relievers ready to go today. need 4 innings though.
  7. so the latest waiver wire pickup is batting third for the Twins. How is this club in first place?
  8. Don't know. I wonder if he did that while in Houston or if it is a new thing since coming to Minnesota? Either way I have complete confidence in him making the play no matter the situation. The man can play glove. Always seems to have a genuine smile on his face and I believe he makes the rest of the infielders better players.
  9. the non first baseman cost Duran a chance at his first 1-2-3 inning in over a month.
  10. I like Lewis's chances at sticking at 3rd base but he has to stop with the double tap of the glove before throwing to first base.
  11. How about on the porch? I'm scared of heights.
  12. To me this is just hilarious and it's the same few every time. I guess they feel they have an important role to fill, lol Ok, just what is the correct time to 'join" in for the' important role'? Is there a secret password? Do us new posters wait for an interlude in the conversation? If two or more posters with over 1,000 posts are conversing are we even alloowed into the thread? Just what are the rules for 'joining'?
  13. "Who should you throw against the Twins." Jim Kaat, Sandy Koufax and Steve Carlton are available.
  14. alway a sence of impending gloom with Pagan on the mound.
  15. And a much diferent view than being a professional Gigolo.
  16. Thus the end of Dan Quale's debate career.
  17. Gallo is a ballplayer. He is a heads up, good defending, good running (for a big man) big swing taking ball player. Gardy had an affection for light hitting good defending players who could play multiple positions(like he was in his playing days). Matt Tolbert is a perfect example. It seems Rocco has a affection for Gallo because he also mirrors Rocco in his playing days. I have no issue with the Twins signing and playing Gallo but for the life of me I can not understand why Gallo received a raise over last years salary. I like Gallo's defense, running and smart play. When he is at bat I trick myself inuto thinking it's Harmon Killebrew in his later years so the whiffs don't bother me as much. Try it, pretend he is wearing number 3.
  18. If you want to cook low and slow it's worth the price. It comes with a lifetime warranty. If you just make burgers and hot dogs then stick with a weber for 1/4th of the $$.
  19. MAT can play glove!!! I do like that the Twins seemingly put their best defensive team on the field.
  20. Listening to Smally makes me want to poke my eyes out. I agree with your assesment but I would like 'guest' color guys once in a while. Kaat, Blyleven and Tom Kelly for starters.
  21. My magic number is 24. 24 more wins is 83 wins for the year and the over number of Twins victories for the year. Over/under number was 82.5 and I bet the over.
