    Now that Kirilloff is healthy i don't need to see Arraez play 1b. I would love to see what Miranda can do splitting time with Gio at 3b. Play the hot hand.

    I don't see Arraez as a downgrade over Ploanco at 2b. Urshella makes some great plays, but not all of the plays. Miranda may hit as well as Urshella, and his defense is still a bit unknown, but they sold it to us as he was moving up through the system. Urshella would bring us more in trade. A switch-hitting dh seems perfect to me.

    Urshella and Kepler for Snell and and a prospect. Miranda to 3b. Polanco to dh every day.

    Jeffers does a poor job of throwing out runners and his bat is anemic so far . Our pitchers do a terrible job of holding runners on base. Stolen bases may be down, but teams are running against us. Why not?

    How about a real first baseman who knows the position and a catcher who can throw a guy out once in a while? Or a pitcher who can keep the runners close? Holes. We have holes.

    Does anyone think Kirilloff will dh while Buxton sits on the bench? I don't. Kirilloff can play 1b every day. Unless Miranda starts pounding the ball I look forward to seeing AK handling 1b. Soon.

    Watching Buxton fall short of his potential, and our expectations, reminds me of watching Mauer and Morneau try to play through their post- concussion issues. It's not good for anyone. Different issues clearly, but it takes a toll on everyone. Give Byron a chance to get healthy.

    Archer is mechanically inconsistent. His pitches are too. He falls off the mound. He falls over himself. Those things should be fixed. We need them to be fixed. The bullpen needs them to be fixed.

    I hope Correa is ready when they send Miranda down and that they let Lewis try his hand at 1b, just to keep his bat in the lineup. I know 1b won't be his position for long , but give it a shot
