Frankie Rodriguez was definitely overrated as a prospect and had a dismal career, but in retrospect, his 1996 wasn't too bad -- he was basically an average back-of-the-rotation starter that year over nearly 200 innings (topping 200 innings if you could a stint in the bullpen), given the elevated offensive environment of the time. Walbeck deserves this because he was near Butera-level with the bat in the majors, despite a better minor league track record, yet was handed a starting job in the majors for several seasons.
