    Still a member of the Country Club until new ownership shows him the door...I bet he got a little kicker from only having to eat 33 of Correas deal. Pohlads certainly have shown their true colors.

    Twins were the 1st MLB team to draw 3 MILL if my memory serves me correctly back in '88. We have an long list of things to do here during a baseball season...if ownership is committed to the product on the field there is no reason they shouldn't draw 30ish or so per game during the summer months.

    https://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/MIN/2006.shtml If memory serves me correctly the '06 was the team Guillen referred to some of the Twins as the 'little piranhas'...those low BA would be great for some of the players on this squad. Guys got on base played fundamental ball and took the action to the guys in the field.

    From a business perspective you would think further investment in the franchise on field and tv etc. would yield more success which would bring the price of the franchise up at time of sale...opposite of what they did.

    Well said...think of all the momentum you had with the fanbase if you are ownership...imagine if they said we are very close...we are willing up pony up more $$$ to get to where we think we can and should be. The increase in attendance etc. they goes with increased fan interest would have likely pd for the increase in payroll.

    Happy Friday all, Had ownership simply kept payroll where it was in '23 we wouldn't be having this conversation. A shame that didn't occur. As a fan I wasn't expecting a a $30,000,000 INCREASE, but I sure as heck wasn't expecting the DECREASE. Pretty simple in my opinion. Fan base did not deserve that. Will be interesting to see what happens with the team up for sale. WIN TWINS!

    On the penultimate game of the 2024 season, a fan brought an anti-Pohlad sign to the game. Yes, it was hostile and inflammatory... Spare me...what was hostile or inflammatory about it. Common interviewed him yesterday and it was quite interesting.

    Go 9-9 with 2 of those 9 being against and you SHOULD get in. Once you get in who knows...in my opinion they don't have the healthy arms to get it done. Would certainly be great to see Buck and Carlos back...would hope that occurs within a week to 10 days.
