  1. I hope we see more of a 50/50 split in playing time between Garver and Castro going forward. It would be nice to not have an automatic out from that spot.
  2. A few days ago, Molitor said Santana is getting close to throwing off a mound.
  3. That's fair, but I think with Santana, most people realize this staff should give the Twins a chance to win each game. It would be nice if there were a couple more guys with the stuff that other teams would fear though, besides Berrios.
  4. Well the Twins staff has the 5th highest walk rate in the MLB. Combine that with the 3rd highest staff BABIP and HR/FB rate and you've got pretty bad numbers at the moment. That should normalize I am hoping, especially the walks.
  5. The Twins have the same amount of losses as the Dodgers and the Nationals already have 15 losses. This has been just awful to watch, but lets not overreact and say the season is over.
  6. At least the Twins finally get a break in not facing an ace or a #2 starter for once tomorrow. I'm expecting a lot of runs.
  7. All of these walks are getting ridiculous. The Twins current BB/9 of 4.11 would have been the second worst rate in 2017.
  8. I'll take my chances seeing if LaMarre's "hot bat" is a mirage or not if it means having a competent defensive player playing RF.
  9. Has an inning ever gone smoothly with Duke pitching?
  10. Soooo much Lindor. Hopefully it's a Berrios or Rosario lovefest tomorrow. I don't think I can take another game like tonight's.
  11. It would be so much nicer if they weren't the 8 seed, but you never know.
  12. I feel like Wiggins has played with more effort defensively this year, but his offense has fallen off a cliff. I'd like a do-over on the Butler trade. Maybe the Bulls would go for a Wiggins / LaVine swap this offseason
  13. He's not just a pull hitter either. We've seen him hit for plenty of power to left center too. I'm expecting big things from Rosario.
  14. People are upset about Rosario sliding into 1st? Way to nitpick.
  15. What are you talking about with Rosario? He had a good game, or I must be forgetting something.
  16. Buxton's line for the game looked ok, but I think he had about 6 swings-and-misses in 7 swings. We don't need to see games like that from him and Sano.
  17. Seth, I'm not sure if your prediction of Max Kepler leading the team in HRs and Odorizzi being the best starter meant two breakout seasons led to great results, or something went horribly horribly wrong.
  18. Well they were 3rd when Jimmy went down, and this is a very thin team. The same thing happened with the Gophers. They had no depth and losing a couple of good players took them from top 25 to the worst team in a mediocre conference.
  19. A team fighting for their playoff lives got outscored by Wayne Selden. Sad.
  20. Besides the actual Butler injury, this is this season's rock bottom. Unbelievable.
  21. Does anyone else have an uneasy feeling about starting in Baltimore again?
  22. Thank goodness that tough stretch of games is over. The time to go on a run would be now.
  23. I'm hoping for a 50-50 split at SS between Escobar and Adrianza. Maybe this will help neither become exposed in the field and at the plate.
  24. I'm willing to forgive a guy for "making a mistake," but I'm getting tired of these metaphorical kicks to the groin right before the season starts. C'mon man!
