    Matt Magill has put up really good numbers in Rochester so far. He's been awful when given a chance in the MLB, so I guess hopefully he's learned something. Do we know what type of stuff he has?

    A few days ago, Molitor said Santana is getting close to throwing off a mound.

    That's fair, but I think with Santana, most people realize this staff should give the Twins a chance to win each game. It would be nice if there were a couple more guys with the stuff that other teams would fear though, besides Berrios.

    Well the Twins staff has the 5th highest walk rate in the MLB. Combine that with the 3rd highest staff BABIP and HR/FB rate and you've got pretty bad numbers at the moment. That should normalize I am hoping, especially the walks.

    The Twins have the same amount of losses as the Dodgers and the Nationals already have 15 losses. This has been just awful to watch, but lets not overreact and say the season is over.

    2 things: 1. Archer and Snell are very good pitchers 2. The mighty Indians got swept by the A's and then followed that up by losing 2 of 3 to the Giants last year, in July.

    I'm calling 6 innings and 2 runs or less for Hughes.

    I assumed he was up there as the Designated Walker if this Rays pitcher has had control issues throughout his career, but he's basically walked no one (1.4 BB/9) in the minors. Max Kepler batting 7th in this lineup is ridiculous.

    Ricky Rubio is killing it for the Jazz. He just had a triple-double tonight, and I'm really rooting for them, unless they play the Wolves next round

    At least the Twins finally get a break in not facing an ace or a #2 starter for once tomorrow. I'm expecting a lot of runs.

    I am not a fan of having to face the opponent's top starters in every series so far.

    Maybe after a half year of starts at Rochester before coming up in the bullpen. I want Romero to be a starter next year, and he needs to build up some innings first to do that.

    The Twins handed them about 6 of those runs. That lineup is awful.

    The longest bullpen appearance will be 1 inning. Hughes is going 6 innings. Book it.

    Hughes has done well against High-A hitters, that's basically what that sorry Rays lineup is featuring, so I'm not too concerned.

    If Baltimore were smart, they would take that trade in a heartbeat. There's no way I would want the Twins to come anywhere close to making that deal either. I wouldn't even like giving up Romero in a 1 for 1 trade for a half season of Machado.

    All of these walks are getting ridiculous. The Twins current BB/9 of 4.11 would have been the second worst rate in 2017.

    I'll take my chances seeing if LaMarre's "hot bat" is a mirage or not if it means having a competent defensive player playing RF.

    Soooo much Lindor. Hopefully it's a Berrios or Rosario lovefest tomorrow. I don't think I can take another game like tonight's.

    Listening to the TNT guys talk about the Wolves is a good way to drive yourself insane, and yet I can't stop listening.

    Playoff Chris Paul showed up tonight. Unfortunately, the one time the Wolves got scoring from their bench, the starters didn't do enough. This should have been a Wolves win with how bad Houston shot it. Missed opportunity.

    I'd rather see attacking the zone and letting your defense work than 5 walks through 3 innings, but yeah, it could get ugly.
