The Timberwolves were outscored 27 to 12 in the 4th quarter in tonight's game against the Bucks. That was just awful offense late in the game, so many heaves at the end of the shot clock.
Jimmy Butler with an amazing effort to will the Wolves to a win, 39 points. Taj Gibson was great again too. A very fun game to watch, besides all of the questionable foul calls late.
With KAT showing no interest in becoming a good defender at the 5, I'm starting to question if you can win with him there instead of at the PF. I always thought that he would be a fine defender, but it's past time where he should have shown that.
I don't get Diaz being a lock at all. Sure, he hit a lot of doubles last year, but no team is going to carry a 1B who hit 12 homers in low-a. And it's not like he hit .330 there either.
I say there's about a 1% chance he gets added.
I liked watching The Gophs continuously throwing at Josh Jackson, who is probably the best corner in the B10 and has a chance to be an All-American. Now that's good game-planning.
At least when Ricky was ball-dominant, the offense had some sort of direction. This year's team has no idea how to play together yet. Obviously they need time to gel, so I'm trying not to overreact. I just miss Ricky.
For how much Thibs is known for defense, I don't get his need to have a scoring point guard. Rubio was seemingly on the block the moment Thibs came in. This team doesn't need a pg who is looking to score. I'd love to have that trade back. It sure doesn't feel the same without Ricky leading the team.
Watching the game, that injury is a moment will not be easily forgotten. So sad, especially for Celtics fans basically having their hopes crushed on opening night.
The worst part about Rhoda is there's no threat of a QB run, which has led to a terrible rushing offense so far. Rhoda actually looked pretty good passing in the 4th quarter, until the interception late anyway.
This felt like a very important game for the Twins. Avoiding losing 3 of 4 against a team that's out of it is huge at this point in the season, and hopefully they can carry some momentum on the road now.
The Twins may have set some sort of record for pop ups last night. I don't know what their deal is with struggling against Estrada and his pitching clone, Mike Fiers.
