    Maybe it's because of all the negativity regarding ownership or the expectations being so low but this might the most fun I've had watching the Twins since 2019. If someone told you on March 1 that Pablo wouldn't throw a pitch all season and Wallner would spend as much time in St.Paul as in the bigs but they'd be a game below .500 and right in the wild card hunt......... They grind out at bats, make pitchers work. And they've knocked around some very good ones. They battle back. Get down a couple, not problem, just get a couple. Atmosphere around the clubhouse and team seem to be really good. Is that a Shelton thing? Great with RISP....amazing what happens when Shelton has them "trying to avoid strikeouts". Not rocket science....don't strike out 12-14 times per game and you produce better in those situations. The bullpen has been as bad as expected. Morris though. Man. Gomez has been a find. Losing Banda, who had been lights out for two months, hurts. Lewis and Keaschall have their OPS up to .700 which isn't great. But it IS pretty darn good after the start each had. I've said for three months I didn't think the most likely guy to get dealt was Ryan or Buxton. It was Jeffers. They kept Jackson rather than lose him on waivers........ Tom. Jeremy. GET SHELTY SOME BULLPEN HELP!!!!!

    Would like to see them adding more speed and athleticism this high in the draft. This kid profiles more like a 1B to me

    Personally I don't expect it to look much different than under Falvey. Take whichever of the "Big Three" falls to you and then load up on college arms.

    Am I crazy on these two thoughts? 1) If ownership and the FO can find one or two capable relievers and this team somehow sneaks into a playoff spot...this version of Taj Bradley and Sunday's version of Joe Ryan can win them a playoff series. 2) I think they should think about signing Kody Clemens to something like a 2-year extension?

    Good (ironic?) timing on this one....Buck leaves today's game early and Fedko clearly can't handle mlb pitching at this point. I'd bet Buck goes to 10-day IL and Fedko is sent down. That would/will open two spots. Roden likely gets one. The other??

    Under Falvey it seems like the org did a very poor job of self-scouting. So many guys have left and done better....Varland, Brent Headrick, Trevor Megill, Jeff Hoffman...... Seems at every turn they chose to keep the wrong guy.

    In the times I've seen him pitch his stuff screams late-inning, high-leverage reliever. And then he starts walking people. Until (If?) the command improves the hybrid role might be the best spot for him.

    If he stays healthy and continues to play well I think we see him after the trade deadline.

    100%. At some point they have to look at Prielipp's workload....I like the idea of limiting him to 60-70 pitches and use Paredes as a piggy back.

    If Falvey/Rocco and their 85 pitches and done philosophy were still here there would be zero chance Ryan would even want to be here. Maybe (a BIG maybe) Shelty is different enough. My guess is its wishful thinking and he has no interest in staying beyond 2027 = he's getting traded.

    Not even a little bit. Worst case he'll make an unbelievable left fielder when Jenkins is ready to play CF.

    If I never have to see Justin Lawrence pitch again for the Twins it'll be too soon.....

    I would think the "weak AL" or "wide open AL" arguments would help the Twins. More teams who think they're in a race = more teams who think they need to add. This team surely should not be adding to try and win this season.

    Personally....I prefer they just leave Royce at 1B. Been saying that for a year...he has the size and I think it's ok to have someone "too athletic to play 1B" at 1B. Maybe it'll help him avoid all of the soft tissue injuries that have hindered him. On Keaschall, I hope they leave him at 2B. See if he can figure it out. They're going nowhere next this year anyway.

    Definitely a new era in baseball evaluation. Bell has been considered mostly "bad" this year but he's on pace for 95 RBI.

    I haven't seen much rhyme or reason to his bullpen usage (maybe that's a good thing with this group?) but kuddos to Shelton for having this team only a game under .500. No Pablo. Taj injury. Abel injury. Lewis and Wallner flame out. Never would have guessed all of that would equal 26-27.

    All Victor Caratini has shown me through the first 1/3 of the season is that he's basically Vazquez part 2. I don't understand why Jeffers hasn't been signed. Tait is a top prospect, but he's just that - a prospect. There are exactly zero catchers in the organization that look like they could come anywhere close to what Jeffers is.

    By June 15 could we see Emma Rodriguez in RF, Kaelen Culpepper at SS and Brooks Lee at 3B??
