  1. That would be as childish some kid doing the -- taking the ball and going home. Super comebacks: MLB's most unreal rallies https://www.mlb.com/news/mlb-s-best-comebacks-in-history-c215344274
  2. Lack of excitement for the unchosen.
  3. A lot of the excitement here is for the chosen few; actual performance numbers , no matter how meh, keep them above other with just as good or better numbers.
  4. Has Jeffers picked up some base running speed?
  5. Arraez actually impressed with that one.
  6. Why, ANALYTICS of COURSE.?
  7. These boys are trying to earn a full time job, you do not get that by not pushing hard.
  8. His fielding is lacking sorely; Celestino was was the top batter on the team, until he wasn't. 17 games earns a maybe, and that is all.
  9. Dump an absolute top line player for wishful thinking rookies; sounds too similar to the Orsen Wells allien in invasion panic.
  10. Rookies earn their spot on the field, it not given due to magical numbers.
  11. .270 vs .194 , your math is off.
  12. Twins rookies close to the Mendoza line better watch out, Cave's can be dangerous.
  13. Yeah, he cannot play short stop.
  14. So they take a guy who is batting .194 with six hits for a guy who is batting..270 with 10 hits and home run in a similar number of at bats?
  15. A terrible catcher could easily make Walter Johnson, Sandy Koufax, or Bob Gibson look really bad though by just not catching the ball. -- YOUR words.
  16. Not catching the ball has zero reflect on the pitcher if it is in the strike zone; if it is not in the strike zone that has zip to do with the catcher.
  17. Just as so many could not wait for the rookies to get here and save the day, and the turned out to be lacklustre at best, just wait until he gets back before being so judgemental.
  18. Bundy pitched to Sanchez yesterday; there is zero way a catcher can make a pitcher good or bad..
  19. Jake Cave just seems to motor on with .262 batting average plus or minus a couple week after week afte week....
  20. It is amazing, last year Simmons, whose defense was still top five was dissed for his bat (which so far this year is worse) so this year Correa , who is supposed to be better over-all is dissed for his defense, not his bat. A lot of nit picking . The rookies, except for Celestino (Larnach has a weak arm but is better than the others over-all) are the defense failing. Arraez's fielding is a nail-biter most of the time, but I do not see him as a rookie any more.
  21. Trade Gordon to Boston for Rob Refsnyder:
  22. By Thiéres Rabelo Joe and Yonathan Daza hit back-to-back one-out singles, allowing Joe to reach third. Then Charlie Blackmon hit a ground ball to the middle of the Twins’ shift, preventing Carlos Correa from turning a double play in time and allowing Joe to score from third. Not scoring enough runs looses ANY GAME, this lost this one, period.
  23. It was the one that counted.
  24. That was what will send the Twins down in flames this season.
  25. He is trying to put it in left.
