  1. I though Correa was an average height dude six feet plus or minus one but he is six feet four.
  2. Kwan has the throwing arm Twins rookie fielders are lacking.
  3. He may surprise us but unfortunately Jeffer will bat.
  4. Lot of pressure but time for Kirilloff not to strike out.
  5. Praise the Lord it did not get thrown into center field.
  6. Infielders , not just Miranda, have been blessed with errors being ignored and being called an infield single.
  7. Slugging .385 with 44 rbi, while Arraez is sluggging .440 with 27 rbi, analytics are greatly over rated.
  8. I do not think he get off the plate quick, gets going pretty well once steam is up.
  9. One I noticed about Kwan when I can see a game on TV , he does not seem to smile, ever.
  10. Unless the fielding falls apart, Twins may win but then Cleveland fielding fell apart a few games back and the Twins still lost.
  11. Gee, I just saw the lineup, Polanco at short, Baldelli does not want to make the play-offs.
  12. Which determines whether you have role on a baseball team.
  13. Better than losing almost 100 games.
  14. Unless you want to emabarass the current rookies NOT a good comparison, by second year both were full time players with double digit home runs while Hrbek batted over .300. Gaetti played 9 games his first year and Hrbek played 24.
  15. Yes, they seem to need it.
  16. Your first sentence covers it well, Correa is dealing with the defense alignment that all the coaches stick him with, they may not be forms that he flourished with in the past. I still compare Correa to Simmons and Simmons range last year was HUGE, perhaps Correa's range is not as large and they are sticking him where he is most uncomfortable handi-capping his talent. Without him the Twins would be in a world of hurt.
  17. Cave's bats, oooohhhh, those near the Mendoza line better look over their shoulders.
  18. To borrow from the Doors -- this is the attitude that it seems dominates this site: And, it's all over The war is over It's all over The war is over
  19. Kirilloff made some good plays last night, but one game does mean that will be the norm.
  20. I hope Celestino get some serious help with at bats.
  21. Any of the games they threw away recently.
