  1. This is wishful hoping. Hoping Polanco comes back like he was, hoping Kirilloff, Lewis , much less Lee, do not turn out like Julien, or worse like Hicks or Rooker. Twins rookies have not had any where near the ability so many Nostradamus seers have said they would be. The ability to endure (not end up on injured list) is also a main part of a rookies stats.,, one where Gordon has show greater ability. If the title said rookies who -- might help -- that -- could be true, but to say they are some sort of sure thing, wishful thinking.
  2. His defnse numbers look solid, not gold glove level but no negatives.
  3. Give me the numbers, where Keplers 6 whole games back that statement up.
  4. Twins need Gallo's bat badly, he will not be sitting on the bench; same for Taylor and Solano. Baldelli pretty much , if you are here, you will play, to some degree, but with the cold bats right now, one will earn or lose being on the field. There is no reason to play Kirilloff unless some one has a long slump. Polanco???
  5. In todays game Cave had a 3 run base clearing double and a single to drive in a run; he is now above the Mendoza line. Maybe we could trade Wallner for him? 🤑
  6. He is doing no worse than Buxton, Correa, Larnach and Miranda, only he is at least hitting the ball not wiffing at bat, after at bat, after at bat. In two weeks, then one can, same with the young rookies, make remarks out of reality not dislike or frustration about who has a serious problem. If Twins go back to their winning ways, player flailing could still be an option with the current manager.
  7. Unless Julien, Larnach and Miranda suddenly get a lot better he will stay when the hurt boys come back. Julien is going back to the Saints. Most of the bruhaha about Kiriloff is wishful thinking at this point so this team may change little from what it is now. With the current team strike out rate, Gordon is safe for now.
  8. Cole can be assurred at least one of his pitches down the middle will be ignored for a certain strike.
  9. Probaly can say that about Buxton and Gordon too.
  10. Well at least Larnach and Miranda actually hit the ball.
  11. Well that inning was a bust, it was all Kepler's fault too.
  12. I think it is a matter of how quickly, few pitches, Twins batters strike out.
  13. Who ever is on the bench, maybe time to bring them in, cannot be worse.
  14. From looking at the pitching graph on ESPN, a pitcher can throw the ball in the same place six times and probably get 3 strikes and 3 balls.
  15. The Twins game announcers have said his fielding has improved from last year after he had help working on it.
  16. He said last year he loathes being DH, screws up his game. It showed last year and now is showing again.
  17. Kirilloff and Lewis have to EARN playing time ; right now they are unknown rookies, who Twins front office are not just another version of Rooker or Badoo. Hot start before flailing away became the norm.
  18. Farmer will take over third when/if Miranda goes down for more practice with the Saints.
  19. Garlick 2022 The only thing that keeps Larnach here over Garlick is Larnach is a better fielder. Larnach's numbers last year were not really any better than Garlick's
  20. Were not some of the few Twins steals last year non-scripted?
  21. WHY did Boston change to their rediculous Yellow and White uniform?
  22. I watched the game analasyse last night on MLB; they showed all of the Yankees home runs, Correa's at bats and never mentioned Garlick, but, after that they had a long bit on Ryan's new pitch. The called it a Sweeper.
  23. If Julien stays at this level, he will not be around much longer.
